It was a F$%#@^ Rock & Roll Concert not a F@%^ Tea Party. Was at concert on Sunday night in Phila during World Series. Great time 3rd time in 3 yrs to see them. I think Peter and Roger are better than Mick & CO. But the warmup group was horrible.

Did McCain Make A Big Mistake ?
tunatussle replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
I wonder what McCain's feelings were when Reagan sent Donald Rumsfeld to Bagdhad to meet with Saddam Hussein back in Feb 1983, he entered the senate in Jan 83. -

What kind of residential pressure washing are you doing?
tunatussle replied to Beth n Rod's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I did get a call to clean a walking bridge over a Koi pond and another over a saltwater pond that I declined because I could not guarantee that there would be no ill effects to the fish in the ponds. -

How about a water wheel on a grist mill in Pemberton NJ. Wheel was in 5' of water when they let dam lower level. Had to wade in neopreme waders for about 6 hrs for 3 days. The mill would turn the wheel as I needed it moved to other positions. To seal it Had to do in in a few weeks to dry out in sections. -

stain in the shower
tunatussle replied to bigchaz's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Go to a boating store and get FSR (fiberglas stain remover). We use it on boat water lines and rust stains any stain on a boat without affecting the gelcoat, should work on a shower -
I am considering soda blasting my boat hull, any input on probable cost for 25ft w/9' beam. Outboards on boat. Can jack off of trailer to have done.

cleaning and sealing docks over water?
tunatussle replied to rj242's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Not sure about cleaning of docks but as of Sept all boaters will be required to have and EPA permit just to wash their boat. So do not be surprised if you have to get an EPA permit to go near water. -

I fish the inshore and offshore waters every summer and find species that were not in our waters for the past 45-50 years. Yes, I am old enough to remember that far back. We are seeing Lionfish in North Carolina. We see sailfish in NJ canyons. We see triggerfish on inshore wrecks. These are all tropical fish. The water temps at the Jersey coast were only down to 40 degrees last year and most of the time were higher during the winter months. -
Wolman EHT Vs. Messemer's
tunatussle replied to Tim McCulla's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I used the Wolman's and it looked blotchy and spotty after about 8 months. The customer insisted on using it, as I applied there seemed to be an eraser(like from a pencil eraser) residue with each brush stroke. She was happy after it was done but I did not like it at all. -
truck ramp
tunatussle replied to bosully76's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
To get it in and out install an electric trailer winch in the back of the truck bed. You can hook the cable to the machine and use the the winch to pull the unit up a ramp. To get it off the truck loosen the winch cable slightly and let the unit roll down the ramp. -
How about a wagon that is radio controlled to bring supplies as needed? Must be capable of carrying up to x weight in materials. Radio control can follow you around with "soap" to dispense for an x-jet?

Instead of reading unsubstantiated e-mails you should find out the real facts and not rely on swift boaters give you the truth. They did it to Kerry now Obama

Gruddens, Helly Hansen, or Viking Look for a boating outlet in your area. Gruddens makes quite a few tops from heavy fleece to just a thin waterproof shell.

Only been asked one time by a large corp and proved to them that I did not need it per law in PA. At first they threatened to withhold WC from my invoice until I forwarded a letter from my lawyer(son) who set them straight. Work alone and no employees.

Ipe Deck Cleaning and Staining
tunatussle replied to PressurePros's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Ken, The mayor has committed to replacing the yp with ipe and has gone so far as to order it with no chance of return. The weight alone may cause the under structure to fall according to a structural engineer. Have you ever looked under the boardwalk? The concrete and rebar are rusted from the saltwater. Councilmen do not want the extra expense of ipe but the mayor is a clone of the old mayor. -
