Any of you been hit with this snow storm yet? Last I heard we're in store for 12 to 17 inches here in Massachusetts. I've got the plow ready and the truck filled with gas (ouch!). I guess it's going to hit us just after midnight. Making a few bucks tomorrow.

Using an Xjet will get the F13 all over the place. The F13 will burn plants so you really want to control how it is applied. Using an Xjet will also make it very difficult to control the ratio and you might end up wasting a larg percent of it on overspray. You might consider using a Deckster (or equivelent) with a tight spray pattern to do long runs of gutter. This is what I use for long low condo runs and if works great. Let it dwell or 5 minutes and hit it with the water.
Must be nice to still be washing this time of year. Right after I finish typing this I've got to get out and plow snow. :(

I use a weak mix of precarb on my own home (on light colored grout) and it works great.

I hated the idea of drilling holes in the dashboard to mount the snowplow control of the new truck so I just left it loose. While cleaning part of the basement this afternoon I picked up a little piece of PVC tube and noticed it was about the same diameter as the coffee cup I was holding. This was my first useful idea of 2011.

Do you remember how old you were?

Aside from the reason for the Holiday I guess I would have to say having my family here (they always gather at my house) and watching my son unwrap his toys. He got a letter Friday from the North Pole. Santa said he and Cody (the dog) were very good this year. I don't think Santa was looking very closley.
How long do you think I can keep up with Santa? Patrick just turned 6 years old and I think this might be his last year for believing.

I use one of those big "spray shields" painters and deck stainers use for preventing overspray. It's just a wide thin piece of plastic with a handle on it. About 20 bucks at Lowes.

Washing you deck or house isn't about power/PSI, it's about using the right chemicals and enough gallons per minute (gpm). Too much pressure is going to damage whatever it is you are trying to clean. The exception would be concrete; A nice surface cleaner connected to the right psi and gpm will give you what you want.

Teh last couple of times I found it was cheaper to buy a new pump. I run a TS 2021. I tried an Anno Reverbi. I was supposed to be cheaper. It cost more because it did not hold up near as well as the TS 2021.This advice is worth exactly what you paid for.
I've gone through several of those AR pumps too, wasn't at all happy with them. One of my machines runs a very old Cat that still runs fine. Had to replace the unloader a few years back (5?). The other machines run Generals... never had a single problem with those.

I also like the enclosed trailer for those same reasons. I also have my trucked set up to run solo for roofs with the chemical tanks, ladder racks, chemical pumps and hoses. It's also nice to have the truck to tow the boat on weekends and to plow snow with in winter. Oh, dont forget that the trailer is another place to advertise your company.

How long is the rehab going to take? Doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun.

Hey James, I'm in your town tonight. Actually I'm typing this from the Holiday Inn in Waterbury. We've been telling the little one we'd take him to the indoor waterpark Coco Key. Patrick was having a great time until some kid puked on the waterslide So now we had to get changed and it's off to the arcade. Can't wait, hundreds of little kids screaming and running around in circles. Maybe Polina will take him and I can stay here and rest.

I sort of keep up with the different scam the occur over the net and it seems everytime the name Western Union there is usually bad news to follow.

It's not absurd. Most people never get the chance to meet anyone famous. I got goosebumps when I went to my first NASCAR race and saw Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick in real. I know it sounds wierd...Many years ago I back up my International Scout in David Letterman's driveway so I could turn around. I don't think that counts for meeting anyone famous.
Can you believe I used to drive that back and forth (for college) from Massachusetts to Ohio? It really was a great truck, I loved it.

I was in a crash on the way to SC, no one covered it. The engine fell off the plane!!! We livedYikes! Don't they check those things before you leave the ground? Once while returning back to Japan we were flying over Alaska. I remember it perfectly... I was looking out the window at the snow covered mountains thinking how much fun it would be to ride my snowmobile through it.. Sniff sniff, is that smoke I smell? Yup. It was an interior fire that the crew was able to put out in 15 minutes or so. That never made the news either.

LOL....I would vote for your sister also. I'm sure she has done alot more constructive things in her life then alot of the nitwits that are running our country. This is my sister's company http://www.kelleycom.com/ She travels to many third-world countries treating children with hemophilia and has written many books for adults and children on hemophilia.

This scam has been going on for a while. They send you too much, you send them the difference, then you find out the check they sent you is worthless.
I get calls from Jamaica once a month or so from some guy wanting to buy my accounts. "Sell me your customers, I'm the richest man in Jamaica. You are rich too, no? Send me the information on your computer." This is exactly what he tells me. Other times they are telling me I won 2 and a half million dollars and a new car. I tell him the he is the tenth caller and just won the Pro-Power Lotto and all he has to do is send me his bank account number and I'll wire him the money. This causes him to hang up the phone each time. You think he'd stop calling by now.
Big storm on the way

Thanks Beth. Everything went fine plowing, we got about 2 feet of snow. Started plowing at 5am and didn't get back home until almost midnight. Worst part was I couldn't get to sleep for several hours and having Patrick getting up extra early saying "Daddy wake up. Let's play Lego."
