A 13 hp Honda engine will last for about 2000 hours. The pump is the weak link but will still last a few years of moderate work.

Alan, Typically when I see this problem it is the pressure switch. With your ohm meter check the wires coming off the switch with it still in the case. The plunger sticks up slightly and leaves the switch activated. The reason I say this is because all the other components fail causing an open circuit not a closed circuit like you have.

The longer Simple Cherry is mixed with chlorine the less it will smell like cherry. Simple Cherry does not completely mask the smell of chlorine just helps hide it some.
