  1. Thank you for the reply Jake, I will take you up on your offer to call. I very well could have done something wrong. I just have never seen a stain strip off so easily. As far as letting the homeowner was their own deck, that would mean less money in my pocket, and these days you gotta take what you can get.
  2. I think from now on I am going to stick with RS or Olympic. Tried the A/C and was not happy with it. I had to clean it about 6 months after applying it due to mold and my house wash mix stripped the stuff right off.
  3. Heeeeeeelp!!

Hey Russ, I recently had the same prob but mine happened with A/C semi. I was lucky because it was on my parents deck. I'm just wondering why this is happening. I had 1 guy tell me the bleach is too strong for these stains that are being produced nowadays. I don't know. Sounds like you are probably gonna have to fix it for them. Hate that it happen to you.
  4. Say a prayer

You got 1 from me too.
  5. Killing Flowers?

You can also take them off the house, clean them with windex and them paint them with plastic/vinyl paint. I think Krylon makes some and it comes in spray cans. I did mine and they looked brand new.
  6. Artillery Fungus Removal

Hey Jeff, I get these jobs quite often also. Could you pm me and next one I get I will post results. Thanks
  7. What type of unit?

Another potential problem is it is a direct drive pump. I've never used a DD, but everyone seems to think a belt drive is better. I have a belt drive, 4yrs old, never had any problems & only replaced belts 1 time.
  8. Mixing Emulsifier plus 55 gallons at a time

To be honest with you Chris, I havent looked in the bottom. When it gets low I just fill it up again. I guess I should check it though. I dont think there would be that much between the warm water dissolving it and the pressure helping to mix it up.
  9. Mixing Emulsifier plus 55 gallons at a time

Hey Chris, I mix it up in a 55 gallon drum. I fill the drum about 1/2 full with warm water then add all 40 #s. Then I stick my pw wand in the barrel and fill it the rest of the way up. When I get ready to use it I use my drum pump to give it a quick stir. It seems to work fine that way. I mix it wth the 12.5% right b4 I get on the job.
  10. Be a Johnny

Hey Russ, that was pretty darn cool. I need to hire me a "Johnny".
  11. I offer wood resto, gutter cleaning & window cleaning. One comment I have about Cleaner Times mag, I have had a sub for a couple years. It seems like lately most of the articles are geared towards manufacturing and distributors and large corps. It would be nice to also have some articles geared towards the little guys. I know they have alot of different areas to cover but dont forget about us. I'm not really interested in doing business in China.
  12. Paid $2.41 for Gas Today

Hey Doug, Flash Foods @ Thomas Crossroads- $2.57
  13. Last letter starts next word - Drinks from a Bar!

Here's one that sounds pretty dangerous. Ebola: 6 oz each- tequila, vodka, dark rum, gin and whiskey 12 oz of pineapple juice Mix all together in a pitcher with crushed ice & cinammon and hold on!!
  14. concrete help?

Thanks for the input MMI. I never did any damage with the m acid, I was just trying to find something that wasn't so harsh. I've read some people using cleaners with sodium hydroxide, I think, and wondered if it worked good. Also I only have a cold water machine right now, don't know if that makes a big difference as far as the cleaners go.
  15. concrete help?

I would appreciate anybody's help with this. I need a good concrete cleaner for new construction. The driveway's are stained with red clay & mud(GA). I used to use muriatic acid but I've read that it's bad to use it. I've tried 12.5% but it's not cleaning very well. Also should i stick with the 12.5% on the older driveway's, mostly mold & mildew but also mud stains. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
