Unless you have signed contracts worth a lot of money monthly , not much worth other than assests. Plus any contract could be broken/dropped

Brick use your regular house wash & prewet the brick. Rinse windows well. If theres black mold in the mortar use a little pressure. just make sure the brick isnt sand faced Brick is usually no big deal. do a test spot if you feel the need.

I finally found some affordable warehouse space. I wanted to get everything under one roof. I had one trailer down the road, another in my garage and a small one over at my brother in laws, plus we have a storage unit. I didnt like half filling up my garage at our new house with the trailer & chems with my kids around. Certain nights I'd go in garage and smell fuel or 12% pretty strong. Well I found a place 20X50 with big garage door we can get all trailers & equipment, chems etc with plenty of room to spare, has all plumbing. Its really tall inside to so I'm going to build about a 10 x 20 upper floor for added storage or office. A buddy rnted the one next door so the took a little off and cut deposit in half cool. Its only about 5 miles from my house Cant wait to get everything in and set up, totally cool price, everything else I looked at for the past year was at least a 1/3 more per sq ft at least JL

Best Method to Remove Loose Paint
Jeff replied to Jhignutt's question in Residential Pressure Washing
whats on the building. Is it just mold & mildew? if so bleach & soap. Is it all block? Around here the main reason to PW for paint prp is to get rid of mold & mildew, so we just use 12% & soap. Got any pics? -

My wife & I love telling people that I own a pressure washing business. Hell I dont care what they think if they look negative, I'm just happy to be working for myself. I love telling people I spray water for a living As for this thread, an Org would be nice, but probably will never have an all incompassing org for all. We will always have hacks and a trade that to some will be hard to sell as a trade. Theres always going to be guys that get a Lowes PWer and do things the hard way or wrong....That was me some years back. So the more BB's out there that help teach and dont fight all the time or put down others all the time the better. It wasnt until Ron strickland from Xterior turned me onto The Cleaner Network that i started doing things a better way and i have LEARNED TONS from these BB's. What I liked about Ron Strickland telling me about TCN, is he knew it might take some biz away from Xterior, but he knew I needed help and to learn so he told me where to look. Everybody can be a teacher, we all learn & teach all the time

Well i lost a good account. It was my 1st real account of any size. I used to do 18 bank branch properties most I did twice a year and the drivthroughs every 3 months. It was a large SC local bank and it was bought out by a large regional bank. I'll miss this account it was easy, good money and it filled in some slow times. Plus they were the cleanest banks in town. I've been trying to get the buyer bank for 3 years, with no luck. Their banks are just not kept up as well or much at all on the exterior. The sidewalks are real bad and the rest is maintianed minimally. I'll keep trying, but I'll miss this sweet account. Cant keep them forever. Unless they finally decide to hire the Pressure Washing King to do all the old & new properties.

Do you think we should send more troops or not to Iraq and why? I dont really think we should, because I dont really think it will help in the overall picture over there. If it helps the troops that are there I say yes send them If more troops are sent say 25,000 what will it accomplish? They are just trying to contain bagdad, but Iraq is a lot bigger than just Bagdad, so even if they can help stop the sectarian violence, which I dont think they can. What about the rest of the country Iraq is in a cival war and we cant really do anything about it, it also isnt our role as a nation to be in there now during another countries cival war, even thou we did help create it Look at the video & audio of Saddams hanging, they were taunting him and talking about Al sada, one of the radical clerics. They knew the whole world would be watching this execution and they couldnt even put a proper execution together. It looked more like a lynch mob I feel more troops will accomplish nothing and we should get the majority of troops out of harms way. We will always have troops in the region, but they shouldnt be in the middle of it any longer I bring this up because President Bush is to be announcing his plan for the futuure and I'd like to hear what everybodys thoughts were before his plan is public
-
I agree !! A solid plan would be great
-
Thanks everyone. I think I was bummed because it was my 1st good regular contract I guess I'll just have to work harder at getting the new bank properties. call, write, fax until they get sick of hearing from me

Damn 200 a day in an Ice cream parlor in December up north, your doing better than most down here in sunny South Carolina. Ken dont let anyone aggravate you, hate to see it. Im nowhere at the levels you have been and are in your many ventures, but I too find my business a relaxing fun thing to do. Is there any hobby thats better than watching things grow, that someone built with their own hands & mind. I always wanted to open up a little ice cream or hot dog stand and have my brother run it. Theres just to many around here......200 @ at least $3.25 per person, if I could get those #'s I'd have my bro here in a heart beat......just dreaming out loud.

Tony I think you make some real good points. I myself have people look towrds me for advise, I sometimes think its funny, its a compliment also. I have only 3 years fulltime and many years in related trade, But I would never teach a class. I offer my advise and quite often I'll tell the people this is how I DO IT, I also tell them there are better ways or I dont know enough to offer them solid advise. ALL my advise is how I do things There are many who have years that are more qualified and hell I learn everyday. There are some who offer advise and dont know s--t. I know of people that offer advise and seem like they are successful and arent. There are some that have screwed others on these BB's. So I tell all on these BB's be CAREFUL and I think thats some of what Tony's talking about. I hear things that make me laugh and things I take seriously but I take it all with a grain of salt. I use what I can to make my best informed decisions I know one class I'll never teach, is book keeping 101. Many would laugh or put down how I do things, but it works for me and thats who my main concern is, I cant wait to run an even better business. To bad I'll have to wait till I can afford to hire someone to do it Tony you are right theres a lot gong on and people should be careful, I totally agree Take it all in and sift through it all and everyone make their own minds up Good post Tony!!!!!! President Ford is gone and I just want to say goodbye. From what I knew about him and the many tributes about him recently he just seems like a good honest man who tried to do the right thing, from his humble beginnings to President..........God Bless you Mr. President

I must be a confused Conservative Actually, I'm not much for the death penalty, but Saddams death is how its done in Iraq and I really dont care about dictators that kill at will Death penalties.......... I think some people should just die/be killed. But in a justice system that money quite often controls the outcome I have questions about death penalty. I fear and know innocent people are in jail at times and have been on death row & killed. So I'd support NO death penalty in our country. I don't think its a deterrent anyway. But until theres no death penalty I think every option to prove innocence should be afforded I dont like the fact that the most death penatly countries are China, Russia, Saudi Arabia & USA, I dont think we are in good company I guess I wish there wasnt so much evil in this world Jeff
