Ryan, I didnt think you were calling me dumb, I just stepped in because On health care, you get it but what if you didnt. Theres many that used to get it but because of high health care cost, corp greed and the bottom line many companies dropped it. I hope the one thing the Dems do is pass law where we can negotiate price with drug companies. When Bush passed law saying we couldnt negotiate I was amazed, but I really wasnt The reason I stand up for the dumb people is that is what your suppose to do. fight for the people who cant or dont. We support the world why not help our own more I dont like the scum bags that use the system, the person who rather take from the goverment & us just so they dont have to work or they want to get high. Josh, Jessica, Mommy & Nana My big guy Josh is getting soo big and Jessica is getting quite a personality now. Nana watches them 3-5 days a week, it keeps her young. Nana/My Mom is cancer free 2 years now, her doctors say its clear sailing now Its great being Dad

Its a shame that they didnt have the right training or equipment. I use to do a lot of confined space sandblasting & spray painting from tanks that I could just fit in at Nuke plants and we'd have vaccum blasters or huge fuel or water tanks. We allways had forced fresh air. airhorns , exhuast vents, personal airpacks. I too at different traing classes would hear about many tragic deaths or permanent injuries. You get in a tank thats 150 feet tall you might think theres planty of air, but it doesnt take long for it to become deadly when doing many kinds of work in it. I use to like the real difficult and dangerous work, it was a challenge and always made great money. Just to old now, I'll let someone else do it

John T, everybody on all sides will always have something negative to say about the other side, I know I usually do. I just hope something gets done and if we can find a way to get our military safer and hopefully out someday of Iraq thats all I care about Maybe, just maybe with the dems in congress and Bush as prez, they might actually try to work together on many things. Maybe this is what Bush needed, he worked well I understand in Texas with both parties . Maybe he needed a little wake up call and maybe the Dems will actually restrain him some, so he just doesnt have a rubber stamp to do what he wants We arent all going to be happy with everything that the new congress & Bush do together or seperate, but if the OVERALL picture improves I'll be happy with that I've read where the FBI is adding hundreds of agents to go after political corruption in Washington, Federal , State & city. I think this is one of the most important things in our time to remove corruption from the congress. With congress, Pork is one thing and its ridiculous but taking brides or passing contracts for their own personal gain is another. Any congressman that steals or takes for his own gain should be jailed and jailed long term, because they are not only breaking the law, they are breaking the confidence of our nation Good luck GW and the new Congress. I dont know about that, but Many states have the prevailing wage, which is often set buy what the union wage is. Prevailing wage is for usually city, state or federal projects so all have to pay the prevailing wage to their workers whether its union or non union

That $2 raise will be over 3-5 years and it shouldnt have taken until now to raise the min wage. When it was raised several years ago during the Clinton admin the republicans and business said it would hurt. It didnt hurt at all, actually business did very well and still put people to work When I was in young they had people pump your gas too, we had milk men come to our house, doctors made house calls, we had 2 trash pick ups a week and bread was $.25 , you could get a breakfast special for $.99 ( coffee, 2 eggs, potatos, meat & toast) A Big Mac used to be big, SO WHAT TIMES CHANGE. Walmart sure could afford baggers at the min rate now, they choose not to, to make billions I pay my guys now $14 & $15 an hour and Im giving the $.50 raise every six months now as I told them you make me $$$, I'll take care of you , $10 to start and a $1 raise in 30 days if they are good. Thats a real good wage for here. I know electricians that dont make that much. I dont have to charge that much more over time and Im still making a killing because I train my workers well. So that min wage over say 3-5 years isnt really going to hurt anything, its just cost of living and cost to do biz Most businesses now pay over the min wage and the ones that dont are just trying to cut cost at the expense of the american worker and they wonder why the worker doesnt care or why they cant keep anybody, I've known many worker that leave one job to go to another just for a 25 cent raise. Now if they just paid more to begin with they might keep workers and it would cost biz less in training people all the time Cost of living raises many get, why not the ones on the bottom of the economic ladder? Its about time they raise the min wage, gives people more to spend YAYYYYYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just my $.2 1/2 cents

Scott, I think your right to some extent. Conservitive but not totally. Min Wage laws passed in many states. I'm thinking the country is sort of 50/50. It is at least close to 50/50 as many of the past elections have proven with the close votes each election. Theres nothing wrong with anything in moderation, moderation means to me, we can find common ground, not perfect always, just the best that can be done to help all. Dems & Republicans really could work together if they wanted to and we forced them to My views aside. I think its even, many are against abortion, many are for leaving it a womens choice, many are for tax cuts, but who gets the cuts is different with each party, I really think both parties are for business but how they make laws are different, such as tax cuts regulations etc. I think most want better morals in our country. I think now that we are in Iraq we wouild like to win, but just dont know if we can do a clean win. It may be impossible to get a clear cut win. I know we all want better/perfect ethics in goverment, I think that was the major message sent this past election. I dont think its going to happen, there is just to much special interests / lobbiest. Corruption and lying is a major problem in congress. I think laws need to be put in place, our reps work 5 days a week for us, not like it is now they work 2 days for us and 3 days trying to get reelected Things have to change every once in a while, its how our fore fathers wanted it, they did not want one party to have complete control for to long, they were a smart bunch of guys, they were amazing. I hope we can get a congress & senate thats amazing someday Congrats to all that voted
