Mahogany door turned black!
Beth n Rod replied to Earl Johnson's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Still looking for good supplier. The last one called back and said he can't get them. -
It's OK to post it if you like...I'll make sure I don't peek so I won't get grossed out.
-
:meal: ROTFLMAO...:D It's tempting to try it....

Are you sure you aren't working on Walnut? There is a black walnut as well, and you could have a combination....I wish I could see the whole door. -

Sounds like you are pulling the tannin or sugars out when you neutralize if the wood is lightening that much. Need to see another more current photo...the rest would be speculation, and you don't need that. Mahogany is a very dark wood naturally. How does the owner feel about the door right now? That's the most important question. Beth -

What happened after you went back out there the other day? Do you have any new news or any new photos? Beth:dunno: -
List the other popular supplies...and I'll see about adding them. :)

Normally we fry ours but this year we are going to roast it for several reasons: makes the house smell wonderful adds flavor to the stuffing gravy...can't be beat due to pan drippings But that fried bird is still my favorite because it's sooooo moist. May have to fry one soon...

We have some basic brown cloth ones we use to keep our hands warmer in cold weather, and we use nitrile gloves (yes we sell them) over top. Nice thing about nitrile is you can get chems and sealer on them and they hold up. Beth :groovy:

Have you got a favorite shopping site? What is it? We could all use a little Holiday Help! Check out: www.overstock.com www.amazon.com Who do you like? Beth
-
Did you mean www.illuminations.com ? The other seems to be a Japanese site.
-
That was the one... I used to work with a woman who sent out the nail one one a year at the holidays along with an apology to anyone she may have hurt during the year. Beth

I didn't think to add smoking to the poll. I have gone back and added it. SO those of you who prefer a smoked bird havea place to vote. If you have not voted on this fun holiday poll, please join in. :groovy3: Beth & Rod

Company website using others pictures
Beth n Rod replied to John T's topic in Business Topics & Tips
John, I kknow how it feels to have that done to you. We had one guy use not only our logo, but a photo of Rod washing a house! We have also had others try to use the company name and slogan. (Our name is Trademarked so no one can use it but us) Consider yourself lucky that he agreed. To anyone else with this concern, you can always go to the host for the web site and report it to them if necessary. Most hosts don't like to hear that their clients are doing naughty things. Beth -
