Wow. You hear about things like tihs happeneing but it never hits home until it happens to you. I'm glad he's ok! Personally if it happend to me, I'd have thought about cleaning the clock of the guy who was responsible for it. (wouldn't do it, but would think about it - seeing red) That's just careless. I agree with Tony. I'm getting sick of all of this too. I'm a patriotic American, but in addition to the loss of lives of Americans, there are little children and other innocent people over there who are now gone. Beth

What kind of wood have you worked on?
Beth n Rod replied to Beth n Rod's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Robert, He didn't do a thing. I spend about two days reattaching photos to threads, only to find out that the DNS was not done propagating and many found their way to other posts. I'll delete them from the above posts. Please reattach your photos below in this thread Mike. Thanks, Beth -
Hi All, Just a quick note to let you all know that there is a Marketing Chat being held tonight on www.pwnabbs.org at 8pm Eastern. Hope to see you there! Beth:corn:

Thank you R Williamson. That's good enough for me. Beth -
Until it is overturned officially (unless that happend, have not read the paper today) you will need to have a call list that specifies DNC (do not call) and DNM (do not mail). Many companies you can purchase lists from mark the lists so you know who you can't contact. If you do call someone and are asked not to call again, by law you must remove their name from your records and stop calling. Most people will allow mail but are more sensitive to calls. Residential customers are more sensitive than commercial. Hope this helps. Beth

The PWNA recently launched a new Chat module and has scheduled a variety of topics to be hosted on different evenings throughout the fall. Please see the calendar at www.pwnabbs.org for a list of events. These chats should prove to be both fun and educational. Hope to see you online! Beth Borrego :groovy:

ROTFLMAO...... Oh yeah? Well....lemme tell ya, I was laughing real hard when I spent all day yesterday reposting photos, then today logged in to the new site to find they were on other posts. DOH! James explained to me that any work done before the DNS was done propagating would not take. So, I guess all my good intentions will add up to even more clean up. lol ;)

Greetings! The Grime Scene is back online once again! We apologize for the delay. There were a couple of technical issues that kept us from bringing the BBS up as quickly as we had planned. Durning the migration, it was discovered that the tables that held avatars and also the table that held photos, had become corrupt. This meant the manual extraction of avatars and photos had to be done, so that we could put them back in their proper places. This is currently under way. Should you find your avatar missing, please upload it. If you have posted photos in the past and you know which threads they were in, we would appreciate it if you would edit your post and reupload the photos. We were not able to save all one them, but got many of them. It would save us time, if everyone was able to contribute by attaching any photos previously posted. Shortly we will be rolling out our Chat module, with a chat schedule to follow soon. If you would like to hold a chat, please post the details in the calendar as well as in a thread. The membership will be notified via email. The store is still being rebuilt. Please call your orders in toll free at 1-877-H2O-WASH, 1877-426-9274. We hope to have the new store online very soon, so keep checking back. You should see improved speed on the BBS at this point. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, or to bring any problems to the attention of any one of our Moderators or Administrators. Thanks, and welcome back! brochures for products you use
Beth n Rod replied to marine_clean's question in Residential Pressure Washing
We do provide brochures for the wood sealers we use, regardless of if it is Wood Tux. It's always helpful to give a brochure to a homeowner, or any client for that matter for a coating you'll be applying. Beth -
Full time or part time?
Beth n Rod replied to One Tough Pressure's question in Residential Pressure Washing
There's fear of success and fear of failure. Most entrpreneurs have fear of failure. In this case you're afraid if you don't do the right hings there is a worse consequence. If one thing holds a person back, nothing does it faster than a fear of success. Being afraid of doing well because you never have, or fearing you won't be able to handle a challenging or uncomfortable situation, those are enough to cause anyone to make decisions they may regret later. Cool thread. Beth :groovy: -
I'll look at it for you. Beth

Change the image tag. It needs a [ ] bracket instead of a < > bracket. We are not using HTML on the bBS anymore. It's not as secure. Beth

Hi all, In addition to the tree in the back yard on the fence, we just lost the tree in the front yard. The maple stands about 3 stories high. Thank goodness it missed the house, but it is laying across the driveway, so until it is gone we can't work. Rod's truck is in the garage, and it missed the truck on the street, but the equipment is garage stored too. We are asking for the help of those in MD and VA who have trucks and chainsaws and wish to help us get out from under all of this debris. The other half of the tree (and we do mean half, it's split down the middle) is standing and will have to come down. For those who wish to help, call us. 301-540-1243 The address is: 13616 Warrior Brook Terrace Germantown, Md. 20874 Montgomery County Map coordinates are page 18C3 If you are able your help is greatly appreciated. Beth & Rod

Our guys are coming in around 1 to work on the trees. There is alot to be done. I'm calling Dominos or Pizza Hut, and we'll have a tree party. Sorry to hear about your damage. Sounds like you got hit pretty bad. Heard from a couple others in MD who also had tree damage. At least we're on high ground. Beth

Just a note to everyone out there on the east coast who is being effected or is going to be effected by this storm, be safe. See you online soon... Beth & Rod

Our neighbor's tree came down in our yard. Took out our fence. Luckily it didn't hit the house. Beth
