Check your skills. Pressure washing takes a little more than just buying a pressure washer and spraying down a person's driveway or siding. ... Get the right equipment. To start your own pressure washing business you're going to need your own equipment. ... Set your business up right. ... Put your business online. ... Start booking jobs. Source: Commercial Cleaning

Beth n Rod reacted to Ferlin_dary in Need help for organizing an event..!!
    Hey guys,
Our residence association is planning to conduct an event by the last of this month as part of our charity services. So we are planning to conduct various entertainment programs for this. As we are arranging this event to raise fund for charity services, the entry would be purely permitted through tickets only. Public are allowed to attend the event by taking tickets. We are expecting eminent personalities in this event to grace the occasion. So as an association member, I got in charge of printing suitable tickets for the event. I don't have any previous experience with organizing such an event. So I'm not aware of any reputed ticket printing firms in Toronto to approach. I got a few suggestions from my friends. However, I thought to ask here to get some good recommendations. Can someone help me with suggestions for the same? Any help would be highly appreciated.

You can use a downstream injector for any chemical.
I just would make sure none ever goes through the pump.

Hello everyone. My name is Anton, I'm from Estonia. Starting up washing business here.
I'm really new to this kind of work. A lot to learn in the future.
Right now I already have small setup. 500 liters water tank on the trailer, flat surface cleaner 18 inch, telescopic lance 24ft( very heavy stuff, I will try to use it to wash solar panels. Want to place end of the pole on the wheels), 2 hoses 10 and 20 meters long and direct drive pressure washer 4.75 GPM (18 lpm) 3600 psi.
As a newbie I have some questions.
I want to install unloader with hose back to the tank but don't know which to buy? Could someone explain to me how to choose the right one?
Also, a bought a gauge yesterday to check the pump , installed it and started the machine. I bought the gauge bc sticker on the machine were saying that machine is 4.5 GPM and 4000 psi but pump manufacturer manual says that pump is 4.8 GPM and 3600 psi , so I decided to adjust the pressure according to the manufacture's manual. So, I started the machine with pressure adjusting cup all the way down and started to watch the guage. I don't remember the readings guage were showing but it was to much according the pump manual, so I lowered the pressure by terning the cup up. I end up with 3480 psi of working pressure with 0° nozzle on the gun and when I realise the gun pressure peaks up to 3600 psi.
    Have I done it right?
Thanks for reading my post. Good day.

I will expound on what Guy was saying.
There is a sliding scale that many contractor use towards pricing and it is representative of the time, labor and materials it takes to complete a job.
Higher price/sqft for smaller jobs and a reductively lower price/sqft as the job gets bigger.
    ie; 1.00/sqft - up to 200 sqsft.
    .75/sqft - up to 500sqft.
    .50/sqft - up to 1000sqft.....etc.

Find out what it takes to do jobs of various types and look into your costs.
How much fuel does your machine consume in an hour? Factor that into the price.
What is your travel distance and factor costs for ass time in the vehicle for each person and
a service area radius to base your rates on. Compute for larger distances as an additional charge upon
    the regular area.

What are your overhead costs you have to meet each month?
Divide that total by the number of days you work to come up with a minimum per day you need to meet those
expenses and learn to factor that into your hourly costs overall.

Many companies here have stated that they have certain minimums they will need to make before accepting any job.
That is another thing to consider but beware, it is also market driven and demographically sensitive. You can price yourself
out of business if your area of business can't support your costs if they are too high.

Let me know if you have any questions...

I realize this is 9yr old thread but, in a general sense, chemical composition and first aid needs to known prior to using any chemical. After injury it is often to late.
    White Ox is extremely caustic.
Composition: Oxalic Acid, Ammonium Fluoride, and Hydrogen Fluoride
If you wish to find the ingredients used in any product just search the commercial name + MSDS.

    Hi Gang!!
Myself and some pals I met on the internet have created an unholy mess of the Axminster carpet in the spare room ☺️Much to the annoyance of her indoors!
8 of us were wrestling in ‘chocolate sauce’ and it’s now encrusted in the thick pile ☹️. How can I get this offensive substance out?!? 🤜🏿
We barely notice at the time, as two members had a cardiac arrests, but the bread knife certainly did!
Amyway muggins here needs to get it clean ASAP, to say it’s pungent would be an understatement ☺️.

If you've got that much work in only a few months then "Well done" & give yourself a pat on the back.
As Mike said, it takes time to get a reputation, personal referrals & repeats. With time you will get to know customer concerns & be able to address them calmly.

There is definitely a lot information you put  out there. One piece of advice I can give you is patience. Just starting out  you take the work you can get. Do quality work be ethical and follow through with all your promises and good things will follow. As you become more experienced and people tell other people about your services you will get more business.  Develop networks of people that need cleaning done Realestate agents  management groups that manage properties those should be the people you should be targeting   I started slow ten years ago now I work for people that manage one hundred seventy commercial properties and I have plenty of work and turn some away   Things do not take place overnights again patience is virtue    Best of luck to you

G'day Rod, no I haven't seen that type of brush, thanks I'll have a look if I can find one.
I use this one  https://www.busybee.com.au/product/wash-brush-quad-4-side/  (the 13 inch quad) as it's super soft, plus dense and has good edges for getting into corners.
