Its part of the second tier pricing package if they want them scrubbed. When you go to a carwash you can get a wash and rinse or you can pay extra and get wheel cleaner, armor all for the tires, etc. People are used to that. I use multiple tier packages and let the customer choose. Empowering a cuistomer with decisions closes more sales. There is never a question if I am doing the job, only what package they choose.

PressurePros got a reaction from Es Mapache in Dead Beat or slow pay customers...How do you deal with them?
I had a lady. I underbid the project intentionally because she had three kids, single mom and her deck was incredibly nasty. I went to her the morning we were completing that we would be finished by noon and that the remaining half was due upon completion. She looks me right in the eye and told me she would have the check ($750) When I knock up her kids say she had to run out and she would mail the check. I knew right away I was in trouble but I had a signed contract and a digital copy of the first half she paid.
I called her every day for a week. I remailed her an ivoice with a SASE. The second week I sent a personalized letter via registered mail. I explained to her that she was taking food from my children's mouth and how, as a parent, could she do that in good conciense. I call every few days (always messages) I offered her terms..never a call back.... The third week I informed her I was filing a contractor lien against her property. I called her the fourth week and told her the time was up and that on Monday I was filing liens, a civil action and criminal charges (an obvious bluff). It worked.. last Wednesday, to my surprise, I opened a letter and out popped a $700 check..the deadbeat still got me for $50
Since that day I will not discount a nickel to anyone, young, old or impoverished. It's unfortunate that losers like this lady (she drives a Mercedes SUV I later found out) spoil it for mankind. --Thanks

sodium hydroxide is a chemical and sodium hypochlorite (bleach) is a different chemical. Since you mentioned 12% I am assuming you mean sodium hypochlorite. The powder is calcium hypochlorite and is not usable in washing. It cannot be mixed strong enough and it leaves a film on everything.

Ron, this is is Scott Millen's baby. Get in touch with him. The PWNews is neutral as far as events and news go. NCE events have had some articles and videos posted by me but these days I only contribute here and there as time permits. I'm sure Scott would be open to any suggestions.

WoodTux is loaded with resin. On a scale of extreme viscosities it would be more towards maple syrup then it would be water. The oil makes it dive a bit deeper into the wood and makes it easier to work with. The caveat is decreased longevity or the requirement of a two coat application.

Neil what you have could very well be some type of extractive bleeding. (as evidenced by acid removing most of it). The mold I am speaking of laughs at straight 5.5% and returns with a vengeance. I have never sugested nor tried 12%. I imagine that would be a death zone for even the most hardy strains or spores.

A tiny foul contrary to popular belief. Good job for moving on and dropping this subjective system of penalty. You know whom is a trouble maker and whom has strong opinions. The two are different. Bob's board gives you guy's a good model of self governing, non-owner participation. It can work. As soon as you give a moderator with limited understanding of personalities and/or start to interpret friendly (or maybe not so friendly) debate as something to be quieted, the system becomes perceived as Gestapo. Fight personal attack with superior refrain from rebuttal and you will get much farther in the mind of the intelligent. We know who is a jerk and who isn't.
I was infracted for a statement that I thought was valid. My instinct was to preserve my right to free speech at any cost and I choked down a public retort for the sense of maturity and professionalism. The one thing that kept me on this board was a single pm.. I had made a post about a certain product and Beth sent me a message saying she had received some grief about it. She gave me the option of changing my wording. That meant much to me and while I still believed in what I wrote, I was inclined to understand her viewpoint and also understood that I could be affecting her ability to earn.. Post changed. Had I been infracted for that, I would have deleted TGS from my favorites list and not returned.
BNR, its perfectly acceptable to pm a poster and share your viewpoint as to why you think that person should perhaps think about what they wrote. Have the discussion out of public view. I think you may be surprised that we all get emotional and write words a little over the top but after review can govern our words.
I speak for myself.. Let me know when I do cross lines.. I am a person passionate about my viewpoints but I am also open minded enough to be nudged when I cross the line after posting something controversial, but please.. Let me decide that.
I'm with Jeff (JL) on this topic. This board has allowed me to network and met some people that I highly respect as freinds and business people. I'm not ready to throw TGS to the dogs because I didn't agree with the way certain things transpired.

PressurePros got a reaction from Beth n Rod in Is There Anything Realy New
Innovative is, I agree a strong word and thats why I voted "not really". I mean you find the right stripper, you can DS it on and wash it off in a systematic fashion and be out of there before another contractor has refilled his pump up sprayer couple times. That's very time saving and perhaps takes awhile to find the right chems and suppliers but is it innovative? That may be subjective. To the guy with the pump up, maybe it is.
