What a night. My wife and I along with my female partner(the one with the black hair) and her husband won the final score on a $50 box. Second straight year I won on a box like that but believe me I am not a gambler. I go to AC to get comped and hardly ever gamble so I can get free rooms. I am a laborer and always will be. Very rarely except the last 2 years do I ever win at betting which is why I don't ever bet usually except on sure things such as I know Mike Tyson Never fought Riddick Bowe because I worked in that area(Not the best place to be) and that community just could not get them to fight. I did win a few bets on that because I know the factual answers cause I worked there. My partner is not well liked on my "Other" job because she is the first and only female in 85 yrs to be hired there. She is in a tough position but she is well qualified. NYPD cop of the year twice and also a kick boxing champion but still.... you know how guys are. I am by far now the Senior person on my job. My other partners are half my age. I was against hiring her because my job is not conducive for females the way the place is. I felt bad for her and she is no doubt better then all of us so today we work together. I got her in to this invitation only to meet some people and to really shut the other guys up where I work. The first pic you see me with the Nassau County Exec who is in charge of the county that was taken over by the state. Big story here. The pics with Alphonse Damato are on my wifes camera. Known Al for years. The pic with the guy in the black shirt is Frank Mackay the chairmen of the Independence party nationwide. I love this guy....but truth be known....he is a frustrated republican. Still a heck of a guy. Then you see some pics of us. Lastly a hero of mine is there. I model my career after him and now all know why I never made boss. Its the one and only Steven Guttenburg from the Police academy movies and 3 men and a baby. Fun night but back to reality Monday morning. Looks like where going to do a nice size parking garage in April for once again 6 cents a sq'. Like I said I am a laborer and thats what I do best Tonight was fun.

There is a company that is using other people's pictures on his website and even though he states on his site that this is how things could look if Pressure wash I still feel it is Unethical to use others pictures without there consent. Here's a post I left on steve's board concerning this. Tell me if I'm out of line. I also e-mailed John Orr to let him know. I don't like the idea of using others pictures on your site without there permission even if there not copywrited which probably 99% pictures aren't. There is a few pictures on that site that I recognized and its just not right. Extremely unethical and with False pretenses given to the fact that people hire you for your work and your showing before and after pictures of others. There could be some legal ramifications at play here. The right thing to do would be to take those pictures out pronto and put your own in. Take them as you go. DO the honorable thing and you shall be rewarded but by being dishonest you are leaving a bad taste in some fellow powerwashers mouths especially those that find out your using there pictures. Think about it.

John--If Farmingdale is not to far from you check out this site www.indequipment.com If you call in there and you get Vinny or Willy tell them that I recommended you call. I've been dealing with them for as long as I've been in business. Willy can fix anything and Vinny(The Owner) is very reasonable. Years ago I even had a Roundtable event there.

They responded to a post of mine over there because I think Mark from Easy Clean sent them the link to respond. The Dan I'm referring to is Dan S. who did respond and is no longer in the Powerwashing business. He's doing something else which I'm forgetting off hand what it was but he enjoys it. Bigboy still Powerwashers once in awhile but these days he goes fishing more. Good times with those guys back then even though the debates were heated...and fun.

Sold off two trucks and soon to be purchasing another.Sold/Selling Some Powerwashing equipment including a trailer. Finished wiring up and connecting flat screen TV's in my kids rooms(Santa bought these TV's @ 3am from the internet on black Friday for a steal). Doing an occasional Commercial job when the weather breaks(This January maybe the first time in at least 12 years if not more that we may not powerwash at all during a Month in the calendar year). Painting around the house as usual & still hitting the restaurants a couple of times a week with & sometimes without the kids:cheers:

Dan Cosgrove sold his Turbo Twister http://amclean.com/Turbotwister.html he hardly every used last year for a song and a dance. He also had a Turbo attachment for the tips which I thought was interesting. Turbo tips seem to be a logical choice to clean the fastet with a surface machine that is belt driven. Dan sold that Turbo twister last year for $1500 and it looked new. Somebody got a steal on that and it wasn't me.

The way I look at Resolutions is "Why in the world would I want to start my year off with an almost Guaranteed Failure out of the gate" For years I said I would quit smoking on New Years. Then be at a bar smoke one cig after another until the midnight hour. Seconds earlier I would throw the remainder of the pack in the garbage. Then like everyone else I would yellHappy New Year!! Then around 15 mins in the new year I would be grubbing for a smoke and also rifle thru the garbage and hoping my pack would be still in there:crying: Today some one would dive in to the garbage these days after a pack goes in there like that cause there so expensive. Moral of the story. I never ever succeeded with anything on that HUGE drinking Holiday...

I gave up on Resolutions years ago because I kept failing. Years later someone told me that New Years Resolutions have one of the biggest failing rates and now I didn't feel so bad because I belong to that large group...yaaaaaaa:bandplay: Seriously what I do now and ummm still fail alot is I set a goal and that could be at anytime of the year except on New Years:beer::beer::beer:

People be careful and triple check those who owe you money. This week as some of you know I sold my Bucket truck. 3 people tried to scam me and the last guy who I thought was possibly a scammer bought the truck. Basically watch out for anyone who sends you a check that is for to much and then they want you to wire them the difference to a phony shipper that in place. Here's what happened briefly and all in a week. 1- Somebody copied the EBAY website and they sent me email thru the phony site to closed a deal. The site looked real and an exact duplicate. Great job except he was messing with Law enforcement. We tracked his IP to England and then I personally sent him a message just to sink it to him. If your Mother is alive..look into here eyes and tell her what you have done. You tried to rip off a hard working person thru fraud. Just think about your mother. You should be ashamed of yourself. 2-Somebody else copied PayPal site to the tee and even put transaction numbers in it. Looked great but my Momma did not raise a fool....well not most of the time. I checked him out thru paypal and there powers to be and he has been reported for fraud. They have his IP address. Don't know where that one is going to go. 3- Yesterday I get to checks from the guy who won my truck and another guy who thinks we have a deal even though he didnt follow thru fast enough. His check was for $2000 to much but he wanted me to cash it and send it to his shipper(Phony). So I take both of these checks to the bank and me and the manager now sit down and out comes the Magnifying lens. Both checks look great and are detailed to the tee. So the manager calls the first one which is the one I have no deal with the guy even though the check is much larger. The check comes from the University of Florida adminstrators office. It is an Exact copy. One problem the check numbers dont exist. The bank now takes that check and its being sent to the proper authorities. Needless to say the University of Florida is shocked. 4-The last check we call the bank and its for real. The guy who bought my truck we have very little communication. End result bang the check is over nighted here and the next day the truck was picked up. Be Careful!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Mark--That bucket truck was a homerun for my business. It was a money maker. You can buy these type trucks fairly cheep thru a site like this where I bought this truck http://buckettrucksusa.com/ The problem I was having with this truck I found out I needed bigger lifts. Then I needed another truck stronger to tow my trailers since this small bucket already weighed almost 10,000 lbs. I wish I didnt sell this truck but there was some things on it that had to be fixed such as the lift slipping so now this truck was going to cost me to much money. IF I do it again I would buy from this place again because there reasonable and they will paint the truck to your colors at a very low price. A good friend of mine had an aunt who passed away around 5 yrs ago. She was extremely outgoing and just a great person to be around. If you can picture her in your mind she was like this. She was a large woman who just loved life and she never cared what people thought about her. She was the same around me, you or anyone. A truly lively and lovely person. Her name was "Aunt Irene". I was at a function years ago and I spotted here there. She just cut the whole line of people at the Buffet table to get her plate full. She had this way about her that she could get away with that because as soon as she talked she would make you laugh or at the very least make you smile. She was as vibrant as a person that I ever met..yet she would tell in the middle of a story that "People suck". Its like that was her motto and it was funny. When she died suddenly late at night(She was 71) after telling her husband that she had indegestion and then she went back to sleep..she never woke up. Many people were saddened by the tremendous loss of "Aunt Irene" being gone forever. The message that she left was this. She said people suck because she got raked over the coals a few times in life but she always said it jokingly because these bad people that did this to her could not break her spirit. It was such a Joke with her to say "People Suck" after someone tells a horror story. Just the way she said it and she was a Robust woman she would have the whole table laughing. She never let anyone down and she was always there for my friend and his family. She truly loved.....people.

Yes the larger check was the fake because they want a return. The copying of websites is called PHISHING which means--the practice of using fraudulent e-mails and copies of legitimate websites to extract financial data from computer users for purposes of identity theft. Just be very careful!!!!!
