  1. Man I wish I could go to the PWNA Convention this year to see some old friends and to also give that rig contest a run for the money. These are the plates on my flatbed truck.
  2. stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!!

Its going to be another close race again since this country is so divided. They should have both of these guys just answer yes and no to alot of these questions instead of just talking circles all the time....but then again thats what Politicians do.
  3. Hot Box and GPM

For a valuable piece of equipment like that I would usually suggest to buy it from your local dealer. But since you can get a much better deal via the internet these days I would go that route and if there is a problem down the road then have your local dealer service it.
  4. My Backyard

This is where I veg when I have time. I just took these pictures. I have some trimming and cleaning to do back there.
  5. Uamcc working hard by pool

  6. If Beth and Rod are accepting donations at this time to keep TGS ahead of the bb curve and in keeping them at the top of the game in the info highway world of the net then let the donations begin. Questions does TGS take Payments from Paypal?? Also can we get a receipt for tax purposes(If not so be it). Come on lets be proud and help out the ones who helped support all of us all these years. TGS site has gave me just about more info for my business then any other bb. Its a top rated site and to keep it at the top then if you can, donate towards it to keep it as the Best. I've donated in the past and hope to do it again. Also there should be a list of companies that ended up donating to this site. The amount they donated should not be made public unless they wanted it to but the names should be mad public like on a Brass plaque that says donated to TGS.. Keep this bb- the best- and donate to get your name on that exclusive plaque that will make you feel good knowing that you helped this bb in the past, today and tomorrow. At the Very least think about that----Thank you.
  7. Is it possible to Convert a Propane Burner to a Diesel Burner?? I have a 12 gpm Diesel Burner thats going to be added onto this flatbed so we can use up 24 GPM for Hot Water Cleaning. Even though Propane Burns so clean and it has minimal parts it would be more beneficial for me to now have all Diesel Burners. So u Equipment Geniuses can there be a way to Convert over Burners so they can be Diesel?? The coils and the Burners themselves I would like to save if possible instead of buying new Burners. The Diesel Burner thats going to be added onto this truck cost me almost 3 Grand and thats just for the burner and I don't want to spend double that for 2 more burners since I already have these propane burners. Thanks in advanced
  8. Vince did you really need to get a commercial License for your set-up?? In NY the vehicle can't have air brakes and cannot be over 25999 lbs loaded. My F-550 Diesel flatbed weighs in at 6800 lbs and can hold 12000 on it for a total of about 19000 so a commercial lic is not needed. My trailer which has 5000lb dual axles and can hold around 10,000 which if I understand it correctly it still doesn't cause me to fall into the Commercial lic category. But Cali is a very different state then the Big Apple NY is.
  9. The Propane tank itself is on the side of my truck. I don't know if your even aloud to have it on the rear of the truck do to most accidents are Front to Rear.
  10. I can't say that. Propane burners have alot less parts to them compared to a Diesel burner. Propane also burns much cleaner then diesel and the propane itself cost cheaper then diesel. The downfalls with Propane burners is that not as many Powerwashing people work on them compared to diesel burners. propane is also more of a pain to purchase on any given night compared to diesel. So there are pro's and cons to Propane Burners. One of the most respected men in this business David Olsen Pressurewashing Cleaning Specialists - Tidy Powerwash Service, Inc. www.tps-inc.com Pressure Washing Project Pictures uses Propane Burners and swears by them. He was a major influence on me to go the propane route a few years ago
  11. My Burners should be fixed by today. There was some continuity issues with also the two Black Control Modules boxes needing to be replaced. Don't know the tab yet to have this fix but as long as its fixed and no more headaches then I'll be happy. Oh yea I was told to WD-40 the electrical connections once in awhile because the outside weather loves to beat on these connections even though there hidden under some stainless steel.
  12. If it works for Jeff and he's happy with that then I say good for him. He is making money when so many today are getting "killed" with the economy being what it is.....And since Jeff made it clear this is not a debate Then I say "More Power to you Jeff" Making money is the Key and he is doing just that:lgmoneyey
  13. Jeff good post even though I disagree with that above big time. The people I deal with want the job done right and also want you out as soon as possible. I love when I here guys are brushing in this business to clean entire houses..I say good for them and great for me. I'll go in a neighborhood with my two guys and we will clean a few houses on one block in a short period of time where a guy thats scrubbing will be there all day breaking his BACK to clean there house. Generally pressure washing when done right with the right chemicals will out clean Brushing any day of the week on most jobs. Also the long term results of you brushing entire houses will have disastrous results to your physical well being. I know you say this is not open for a debate so we will leave it at that. If it works for you then do whats best for you and yours....... P/S-If you got a job to clean entire Condo complexes you'd be married to that job for a long long time. We clean them as nice as we do single homes....with the same methods. In your case your method in my eyes would be daunting to say the least...I would hate that job and the money they pay to get these Condo's clean would no-way sacrifice the LABOR INTENSITY that your method has..........
  14. Trailer Hitch 2 Shin Pain *Graphic*

Man that hurts just looking at it....
  15. No we have been to busy for me to get this Flatbed to a propane place for a look see. So far both Burners work intermittently. A real pain in the rump.

    Thanks Beth!!
  17. My Backyard

Hey Paul, That pool was installed by my old PD partner. Man he has a booming business. As for the cover its a loop lock cover that is easy to put on. The maint. for the pool is pretty easy. I have a Polaris Vac. that is self running and keeps the pool pretty clean. The mountain lake pool(Free Form) is a nice pool and would have looked better in my backyard but since my girls were only about 3-8 when we had the pool put in the L-shape was a better fit because of the part of the L which is all shallow water. Personally as much as I like the pool the Jacuzzi back there rules. The pool is heated and we generally keep the water temp around 88 degrees but the Jacuzzi we use all year long and in the winter its HEAVEN!! and goes great with some wine and Escapesism(Probably not even a word).
  18. My Backyard

Oops!! Forgot to add the pictures.
  22. This is the schematics for the Burners on my truck
  23. Yes I do have the parts breakdown of my burners. I'll try to remember to scan them and put them here. I replaced the electrodes awhile back but I'm guessing I probably have the wrong distance between them. I don't have a gauge to set them with so I did them by trial and error. So one burner goes on but sometimes after awhile it doesn't kick back on when needed to and the other one at times won't even light. This has caused more problems:lgbugeyes
  24. The burners are assembled by www.semfg.com and there btu rating is about 1,100,000 for each burner. Now the question is why the propane burners don't stay running long enough. This has me scratching my head for answers.
  25. The Diesel Burner which I purchased from Envirospec has a btu rating of 660,000 btu and the two propane burners I have on this flatbed are rated at 1,100,000 each. You would think that would be enough heat power but is it ever really enough???
