John T got a reaction from Beth n Rod in How cold before you stop residential & commercial washing?
Usually around 40-45 degrees is our cutoff for residential washes. Wood restoration is at least 50 degrees.
Commercial washing we'll go down to just above freezing and in that case we have to know how much later the freezing temps will come so we don't leave a place like a skating rink.
So what's your cold cutoff temps?

The PWNA is having it's 23rd annual convention coming up Nov 1st http://pwna.org/convention/
They're offering excellent classes to help Contractors in their field of choice. Anywhere from Garage cleaning all the way over to wood restoration. You can also get a certification for some of these classes that is backed by the Industry's longest running organization which is the PWNA.
Another great session is the "Millionaires Panel" open room discussion. Some of the people on this panel gross between $4,000,000-$18,000,000/yr. That's right those numbers are in the MILLIONS!
You can network with these guys as well as any and all of the other guys at this Convention.
Also the Trade Floor will have some of the most successful and well known Vendors in the Power Washing Industry.
So book your flights today because you can get some great deals on them now.
Looking forward to seeing you guys at this Event :)

I was fortunate enough so serve with her when she was the Secretary of the www.pwna.org

    A couple more red flags
    1. How much is material cost and how much is labor cost?

    2. Give me the material list. I will get the material and that will save you time.

    3. What is that chemical and where do you get it?

    4. How much can I save if my son helps you?

The answer is "Thank you for your interest in my company helping you with your service needs.  I do not think we are a good match for your needs.  Good by."

If thats a ground floor deck yes there could be a moisture air problem. I had a couple of decks over the years where they were ground floor and we had issues with not only the deck taking forever to dry but the stain itself did not dry correctly. Thats what it looks like now in your picture.

Its rare this happens but every now and then we all run into this problem if we do enough decks.

Never say never ! I've seen ready seal peel from over application .
This type of issue is alway due to the prep and over application of product.
