  1. The Do's and Do Not's of Roof Cleaning

Your roof is the most important component to your home. It shelters you from weather, protects your belongings, and maintains the environment inside your home. We value you, your belongings, and your investment in your home. For that reason, we want to make sure you are aware of what to look for in the care of your roof. Look for a professional. Ask to see before and after pictures of work performed in the past. Ask for references. We will gladly provide them! Make sure they are insured! Pressure Pros carries a $1,000,000 liability policy. DO NOT USE HIGH PRESSURE! Many shingle manufacturers will void a warranty on a roof once a pressure washer has been used. Please read the technical bulletin on our website from the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association. Pressure Pros uses a non-pressure cleaning method that is approved by the ARMA and Roof Cleaning Institute of America. Be aware of your low cost cleaners! Your roof is a valuable asset – use a professional that provides value! Pressure Pros understands there are many methods to clean roofs. However, Pressure Pros specialists practice safe work methods and use proven roof cleaning methods that have been used and approved for decades! Our methods are approved by the leading authorities in roof maintenance ARMA (Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association), GAF, and Owens Corning.
  2. The Condition of Your Roof

What is the condition of your roof? Many believe the growth of fungus and algae are signs that their roof may need to be replaced. Most of the time, this is not the case. Pressure Pros is dedicated to maintaining integrity and will always make a professional recommendation before working! After evaluation, if we feel the roof needs to be replaced, then we will let you know! Signs a roof may need to be replaced: Sagging Leaking Rotting Curling of shingles Granule loss Missing shingles All these sign will be assessed in our initial FREE consultation. Just because your roof has algae growth does not mean it needs to be treated. The damage from algae occurs over many years of presence on a surface. Our long-term recommendation is to address algae before it becomes a problem. However, the short-term treatment on a roof may be for preventative measure or purely aesthetic purposes.
  3. Who Sees Your Truck?

Don’t underestimate the impact of your fleet’s appearance – you reach more people than you may think! A report put together by the Department of Economics and 3M Company analyzed how many impressions a single truck made. There are a number of factors determining how many miles your truck will travel and how many impressions you will make. Regardless, it is safe to say YOUR TRUCK GETS NOTICED! What comes to mind when people see your fleet? Are they so clean that additional notice is taken? Or vice versa? You have heard of drivers saying, “If it don’t shine, it ain’t mine!” Our job is to maintain your fleet’s appearance to the highest of standards! We accomplish this with customized methods for every fleet to remove the harshest road grime with the gentlest of care. View the charts on who sees your vehicle in our quaterly newsletter - Fleet Wash Focus. http://www.thepressurepros.net/uploads/Fleet_Wash_Newsletter_-_Spring_2010.pdf
