Slight Mold, welcome to the forum. We are glad to have you here and love to help out. I'll be the first to admit that I am not all the politicol savvy that most have here on this topic. .... I simply liked Huckabee because he plays a mean Bass guitar. Which means he probably takes the low road, and doesn't think or approach certain areas by normal standards. I would just like to see a "Rockin" Pres. .... again welcome to the forum.

In the freight and transportation industry there has always been a fuel surcharge. Airlines, LTL carriers, EUV carriers, bus lines have charged a minimun of 10% FSC and it has always been an additional way to profit as well as cover the increasing cost of fuel.Call it whatever you want but it is for profit. The constant increase in fuel means constant increases in FSC and it always covers the cost of fuel and added profit. I have considered it myself but not just yet. Honestly IMO it is a tool to make more money using an industry term that people can relate to. They may not like it, but understand it anyway. They may choose to use a different carrier thinking they can avoid the FSC, but I don't think you fill find a company that is not using a FSC. So it gets accepted as normal over the board. It almost doesn't seem right, but it won't change if that is what you are hoping for.

ok, I'm kind of afraid to post here, because I don't want Jeff hunting me down. I already did the early vote a couple of weeks ago. I won't say which party, (again, Jeff might find me) but now I am just not really sure I like either candidate on either side. It seems like it has come to this in my simple non political mind: If I were to vote for McCain it wouldn't really be in support of him but only be representing a vote against Obama and vice versa. ( or Hills) I just am not feeling the trustworthiness from any of them on either side. But I did vote.... and will again in Nov. I feel like my hands are tied this time around. But at least I am a legit stat who voted. I don't think those who don't vote should have their complaints heard or eve bitc% at all. It's the one thing I can do to at least make my scratch mark ( or digi mark ). My man may not win, but by voting I can at least gripe legit. ... at least Huck plays a mean Bass guitar. But that's not a good enough platform to bass it on. Bass, get it, bass. hahahahahahahah. I'm running from Jeff now.

Methods on reaching high gutters to clean?
Adrian replied to alvisishere's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Sometimes I will use a 100 footer and not have to drag the deckster as often, but the rolling up of the hose is the real hassle. I usu. just keep the 50 and wheel the deckster. Lesser evil I guess. But if you have the nozzle tuned (dialed whatever) down to the laser beam it stays pretty solid pattern up to around 25 ft or so. Like most tips, it will break up the higher you shoot. .... this is just me and not gospel, I just don't like the ladders unless I absolutely need it. Most cases I am ok w/o it. Traci at sunbrite can set you up with one, unless you know where to get one. Once I found out about this tip I abandoned all the multiples I had to carry around. Just the one is almost a cure all for just about any application. -

you can always add on a variable degree cone tip on the end of your wand whatever length. My deckster shoots about 30 ft high. Sun brite supply sells them for about 20.00 bucks. they are brass and hold up pretty good. i have been using the same one for about 3 years now for everything from strippers to wax. the good thing is you can have a wide spray pattern or a laser beam. I rarely use a ladder for this type of work except for hard angles. they work great. just my .02 take it or leave it. -

Yep worked with a painter in Atlanta, for a family with child in wheelchair and got some tv coverage out of it. Free advertising, plus great feeling to just be able to help.

Is anyone using this out in the field? All the data can be transfered to pc via smart media or sd card and it states that it is "form friendly".( I think that means I can load up my invoices and estimates and add the data) Or is it a waste of 150.00 bucks? I know that I could probably put it to good use, but would still need mobile printer to kick out invoices or estimates in the field. Or am I totally off base in thinking how this works. Hope everyone is having a great day.

that's the exact one I am looking at from tigerdirect.com I am looking at the catalog and the first line says that it has "form filling" function. I was thinking that this could eliminate taking the laptop out in the field with this. On closer inspection of it, seems like it is just a piece of digital notebook paper. Thx for researching though. I'm sure an easier way will come along soon. I was hoping it allowed uploading of forms that you could then fill out and print. But yes, I guess that's what my laptop is for.

Just for fun!!!! When I was young and my heart was an open book......... I never forgave the Beatles for breaking up. I hated Paul McCartney and wings.Just hated them for hurting me. I mean, how can you top the fab 4. Right, cutting edge, experimenting with drugs and 4-tracks, setting the bar high for a new sound that no one to this day can compete with. It used to urk me to hear anything by wings on the radio ( but it was still great stuff) and I would change the station in protest. Now , some of the music that I thought was crap then, is still crap now, along with today's crap ( not all, but most IMO). But I was so wrong about Wings. They so KICK ROYAL A$$!!! Freaking love them. So talented. Although I prefer the Beatles drug years to the "love me do " years, Wings hold a corner of their own in R&R that is just as important ( again IMO). I can't even give a favorite Wings song there are so many. Band on the Run Jet My Love ( written for Linda) Live and let Die. Junior's Farm Gosh the list is like forever, and some of them actually pull a tear or two. You younger rockers may not get it (possibly until you are older, if at all). My apologies to Paul and Wings for a selfish hatred I had. Again, IMO, Wings material has stood the test of time and even surpassed some of the crap that is so called music today. Keep in mind I know music and have toured the country with my own band for a decade from east to west and loved and hated every moment of it. Preceeded with a lifetime of learning music up to that point. I just can't believe I was just too stubborn ( for decades ) to give Wings a shot at joining my collection of who I consider Greats. ....... by the way, classics and oldies are simply not in my vocab. So, " for those about to rock" who have you revisited lately? I finished up early today and thought I would blast all 200 watts with Wings on the way back, like the kids do with Snoop in their 2 foot long hondas. I was turning heads. Of course it's not a good way to get hired, but today I just don't care. Hope everyone is GREAT and staying busy!

I know.... my loss. I love them now though. It's like a brand new band for me to listen to. actually just dropped a few more dollars this afternoon on some more of their cd's. Some of the material sounds still somewhat beatlesque though.

I really miss that era. They were great. Don't you look at my girlfriend.....

Is This Price Too Low ?
Adrian replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in Residential Pressure Washing
IMO it is too low for just about any area for 3ksq.ft. But, like many have said on this board and others, he probably won't be around next year. If that rate does not raise red flags for his potential customers then more power to him as we don't really want or need that type of customer. They are the ones that sacrafice quality for price. IMO IMO IMO -
Saw the stones in 80 on Halloween at the cotton bowl in Dallas. They were old then, and it was their last tour as well. That didn't last. They have tuned into a corporate music machine. It should be called Geriatric rock. Of course Mick is Satan you know!!! He said it himself...... lol.

You got that right on the head. You mentioned Montrose ( Rock Candy). Ronnie Montrose was an awesome guitarist for his day. Sammy Hagar used to sing in that band. I remember when Willie ( Bio Willie) used to be so clean cut and shaven. It might be harmful to me if I mentioned that I dug K.C. and the sunshine band as well. Anyone remember Firesign Theater?

Being that this is the first time you have ever spoken to me Daniel, my reservations are now conclusions. But keep trying to prove your point. It's amusing to me.I never questioned your professionalism up to this point, but for obvious reasons I now do. Many of us here have gained a small percentage of customers from this site, and we try to maintain a professional stance by monitoring what we input here simply because the potential customers may hire us from the knowledge we share here. Obviously, I am not the only one that made a statement about the spelling, but I seemed to upset you personally which was not the intent. You seem to be all over the compass with your comments to me and many others. That is not limited to this forum either. Not to mention that you are very pushy and demanding ( unrightfully so )to those who should be considered as your peers in the industry. The fact that you are big enough to edit your sarcasm and insults says a little about you though. But only a little. I will accept that as the level of humility you possess. Or else you are simply trying to salvage your membership on TGS. At any rate thank you for editing your post for the benfit of my potential customers. They don't need to see what kind of mouth you have. As far as what I do , when, and where, or who I vote for ( which I already have) is absolutely no concern of yours, and it would serve you well to remember that. -
