.... a little far for me to travel Scott!
-
.....plus..... you will need the shortest supply hose from tank to pump as possible. Too long of a hose will cause it to collapse and it will not draw water.

Investors of course!

I am still searching for a perfect deflection sheild for a wand that doesn't get destroyed after the first drop. or a respirator that actually allows for breathing. or a helper that that actually absorbs information instead of just sayin uh-huh. ( that would exceed 200 bucks though I'm sure). ... a manual truck mounted boomladder.... maybe 20 footer. a ticker sign trailer mounted running all of your specials as you cruise.... "Caution High Pressure Area" collapsable sign, like wet floor sign. quick mount flood lights for unexpected night work. A small camelback that holds ALOT of water. A "Lazy Susan" for chem jugs... I got a million of 'em Scott. Let's talk designers patent.

LMAO guys......... listen, if it weren't for you guys I would still be doing malls with a 9 horse and a turbo nozzle. You are all tops in my book. Thx a million.

Sodium Hypochlorite vs Calcium Hypochlorite
Adrian replied to Sparklean's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Great talking with you Adam. -
To me, it seems like the Kingpins are Carlos in the west, ********** in Southwest, K. Fenner up North as well as Beth & Rod for Northern King ( & queenpins), in the East there is Lecours and Celeste who rule the kingdom. I certainly have learned alot from their post' over the years. As far as the Gulf east region goes, Russ in Alabama, I consider the same. Doolittle ruled ATL when he was in biz, and have yet to see anyone with his knowledge fill those shoes. There's also Cujo, and Alan that where a crown. I always like to be considered anally professional but certainly not a Kingpin. ( Not yet anyways). But I have helped many get started in this biz with what I have picked up from the bbs. I will own H-town in the future and hopefully acquire the brass buttons that those I speak of have. I am in a position now to take on help as my name grows around here but I refuse to do that until I get so backlogged that I can't keep up. But it is because of this board. I have work with folks that claim themselves as a 15-20 yr. vets that have yet to match my professionalism and skill with less than 6 yrs. I have seen 30 yr. painting vets that think they know all there is to know about PW, but yet it takes them 3 men and a day and a half to to clean a single ranch style. Jeez..... to my 45 minutes and just under 6 yrs. So it just goes to show the variety of "Pros" and difference in time taken to learn the trade. Differnt goals I guess. But yes I want to be the best at what I do and to be sought out, as one of the best, which is starting to happen this season. I just don't know if one can make a living in consulting. Who really would decide which contractors are the best anyways, other than our own personal takes on them? Sorry to babble, no sleep. I love my deck- jet and x-ster ......what?

need some ideas for an enclosed trailer ramp
Adrian replied to Christopher's question in The Club House
I don't think you will need to reinforce as these things are designed to have 6k lb forklifts drive onto them for loading tractor trailers. Just cut the tongues, weld a hinge, flip it up with a stopper on the inside and close the doors. -
depends on type of stain. Soap, water, stiff brush, elbow grease , if it was oil based. The longer it sits on the vinyl the tougher it will be to remove. Plus it may leave a shadow behind. Watch your psi if you decide to try and get it off with pressure.

Don't we already have this, what you speak of, in TGS?

Get a dock plate Chris they are only about 300.00 and weigh only about 85 lbs. That's just my take on it. Grainger Industrial Supply -
The build on my helicopter is going so so,... ugh, the cabin is almost finished and looking good. But it is taking it's toll on my brain. A million moving parts ect. So during the build of the real thing and a few other scale project builds ( things that go crash), I picked up this little Slo V with 370 electric, just to get my head in the clouds and off of the helicopter for a while. It's pretty fun, and I am ordering the bomb / parachute aerial drop module for it so I can drop things on people's heads. (kidding). I have been pretty busy with PW and staining too, so don't think I am playing all day. The day ends at 1:00 right? Watch the video.

East Texas Woodies
Adrian replied to Mountain View's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Seemed like a nice guy to me and genuine about the job. We never talked budget though. He may take the DIY approach if no one steps up. I just have a feeling that I wouldn't even break even on this one. Simply too far. Can't be in Austin and H-town at once. Wish I knew more people or had a transporter. I'd be rich. Got shut down on a deck spray and gutter / chimney project because of wind today. I know..... don't be lazy and grab a brush right. Maybe someone will chime in from that area and help the guy out. We've done all we can, unless you happen to have a transporter. Take care bro. -

Pete, Jack Taylor has a deck resto in DFW (Oak Villas)area. If you want it. He called me to come up and do it but I had to decline. Distance vs. swamped for me right now.972-723-6491. He said he has left vox msg. to you but has not heard back from you. Check it out.... sounds like a pretty good project. -
I believe he makes 700.00 per hour. Probably more for specialty trimming. He makes it look easy. Robinson 44 is a 450,000.00 bird, not to mention his conversion cost'. What a life.

Thx, doing it slow and right. Double and triple checking. I don't know how close you are to Holland, but my friend has a chain of liqour stores and laundry mats you might approach him about cleaning, Phil.
