-
Yea sorry, first timer at this but I did post the cure song when I realized it, so we should still good to go.

Just Like Heaven..... The Cure.

men at work was a band with a vegamite sandwich. LOL ( sorry, never left the 80's) ...... but here's one for ya Beth. "The Curse of the Pink Panther". Peter Sellers not Steve Martin.
-
..... or you can refer to the mix I posted earlier in this thread. That mix works really good and does not dry very fast allowing you to cover more surface area with chems before rinsing.
-
I didn't run across any rust on the side Lyn. I believe it is a shadow on the pic, just like the pics of the black mold. The shadows are there but you can clearly see the mix of mold algae and some conglomeration of the shotgun mold as well. This resi is roughly 25 feet from a flowing creek, which is obviously where the most moisture is. There was a little rust on the the chimney cap, but the customer is ok with that.
-
You' re right Steve, it does clean easier than most resi's, but I thought it would make a nice pic. When I first saw the side I felt like I was standing under a drive in movie screen ( anyone remember those).Glad your back safe and sound and thanks for uncovering the terrorist liquid explosives threat, we knew you could do it.

I know of TGS, the best in my opinion. I know of ***, alot of great people as well. ... and PWNA Are there any others out there?

Thank you all.

Sorry Barry, I meant to say Barry, but why did I say Mike. I was bouncing from thread to thread today or maybe it was a senior moment,or the heat, or the 80's? At any rate, great job and sorry for the mix up!
-
Looks GREAT Mike! Aren't you glad the customers know the industry better than us when they say something like that. Or they seem to know whether it's an easy job or not. If it were easy they wouldn't be calling us. Gutters look great and so does that deck. I would be expecting another call from them though on the deck after they try and restain it themselves. DIY's usu. try...... botch it up........ then call back screaming heeellllp and try to blame the husband or the wife for not calling you in the first place. lol. Great work though as usual.

99...... but you know what I love Ken, I don't even need to say it...... but no ladders were harmed either.

mixed in 6 gal. xjet rig is 1 gal. 12.5 + 1/3 gal pro source ind. dishwashing liquid + top off to 6 gal h2o. This mix has worked much better for me this Summer vs. last Summer's effort with Cascade. It does not dry fast at all, I have soaked complete 2 story's all the way around without it drying on me and it has cut my time alot. Tone down the 12% a bit and use it for deckwashes as well. It works great and I pick it up at Sam's for 4.00 a gal. or by the case. It also cuts the smell of the 12%

No plant life was harmed.

Yep same problem, and I know who you are referring to. Their explaination made sense and now they are going to push their liquid stripper even harder. The problem has been with their distributer and order fulfillment, causing them to loose sales revenue due to lengthly transportation and logistical issues that seem to be interdepartmental at the source. WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN? YOU BETTER CALL ME MR. OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN WITH MY NEW DECKSTER AND GIVE YOU A HOSING. Seriously, look me up. Haven't heard from you all Summer. Thought you were dead or something. Or bow hunting for a reeeeeeeeal long time. The Tank is fully stocked now and I need some new lures.

AC guy said we were still in Vietnam. No, we left about 30 some years ago and left them to their own devices. No we did not!!! We may have pulled out the majority of our fighting troops, ground and air support. But, we are still in the areas, with US embassy and outpost' and bases, and airfields as with most countries we have been to war with or have been peace keepers with. http://vietnam.usembassy.gov/ with that embassy there are troops assigned, they live at a military base and have guns and bullets and all kind of things that make big explosions for the protection of the citizens and our interest' of that country not 30 years ago but today. Our presence has also kept a sense of peace and have created a pretty nice tourist economy for the area. 30 years I will agree with, that we pulled out the majority of our troops. ... but that we pulled out entirely.....NO (just like you said) nope, not true, no matter how convincing your statement might read or how right you like to make yourself sound on this point. It's just not true..... we always have US interest' to protect in other countries because we have our hands in so much of the world peace mix.
-
I love my xjet I love my Deckster I LOVE MY COUNTRY Everyone has great points in my opinion on both sides. I support our troops and am greatful for them. I do wish they were close to coming home, but, there will be us military bases over there for decades to come.......just like Viet Nam. I support our President's (slow moving) processes to some degree. The truth of the matter is that he could have just really gone full scale defcon, apocalyptic, since we DO have nukes (WMD) and taken out the "THREAT". I actually respect the reserve he has shown in not taking them to school!!! At least we are better for that. He has also shown some great cahounas by keeping his hand off of the "switch". ..........as I reflect on Charleton Heston's famous last words on the planet of the apes.

HD-80 sprayoff?
Adrian replied to ACSTravis's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
You should post some pics of the project so it would help all of us see what you are up against. I think HD-80 is a great stripper and will take care of most deck jobs, but with any strip job you should be running a sprinkler or constantly rewet the areas. ... and of course tarps and plastic throw aways are a must to help protect the landscape. -
