Took me a while to realize the same thing. When we first started out, I knocked on doors, hung door hangers, etc...realized that it usually pissed people off more than anything. We have much more success with professional looking postcards and local advertising. I agree with David...

We've been running a Black Night 8gpm belt drive from SunBrite for almost 2 years and have had no issues to speak of...good machine so far.

Does anyone have any good suggestions on a hat that has UV protection and is virtually indestructible?! I'm trying to keep the sun off me, but bleach destroys most hats...thanks for any help!

Definitely a little heat, just be careful not to warp the vinyl...let your normal housewash dwell for a while to loosen it up...

A friend once gave me invaluable advice about time management...he told me "Don't waste your time on the REALLY dirty ones...they either don't give a crap about getting them cleaned, or they have no money." Hey Larry...we've had the same problems with tannin stains from oak leaves on concrete. I never ran into pecan stains, but I bet the method we use would work...after cleaning the surface, we use an M5 xjet to apply a light coat of straight 12.5% bleach...we don't rinse it. After a minute or so, the stains are gone and the concrete is brightened. Just be extremely careful, as it will kill grass, plants, etc. if you're not careful. Good luck!

We do this on gutter cleanouts. I don't like gutter work, so we sub it out to a reputable contractor that has their own insurance, employees, etc. We just collect a finders fee. Win-win for everyone...
