  1. HELP!! unloader problem

Thanks for the reply's guys... I took the unloader apart again and on the spring side found a fairly small piece of plastic not sure if this could have caused this problem or not, put everything back together and it seems to be working now. I do have a question though. My pressure gauge is showing about 3400 psi at the unloader with my turbo nozzle... is that 2 high ? what should i be aiming for I don't want to damage anything. With the nozzle that I'm using now I have to have the bolt ALL the way DOWN on the unloader is that right? I haven't really been able to find a clear cut guide on how it should be set up/ Thanks for your help Lyn
  2. HELP!! unloader problem

Help guys and gals I have a general ts2021 pump with a k7(least that's what it looks like) IT has just recently started surging for lack of a better term, Its really bad with my turbo nozzle but it also does it with all my other nozzles just not as bad. I've tried cleaning the unloader as I've read that sometimes they can get trash in them (what I could get apart anyway) I tried crimping the hose coming off of the unloader down some as i had read that could be a temp fix but no luck When it's surging I can watch the piston on the bottom of the unloader going in and out and my pressure gauge goes from about 3000 psi to 0 and then back up , I also tried messing with the pressure settings to see if that could have any effect with no luck. Any advice would be great I have a driveway job coming up tomorrow and don't want to miss the job . I relize i could run direct off of the pump buut not crazy about that idea
  3. Cleaning deck for paint prep?

Thanks For the replys guys, Well turns out this deck has a stain already on it and she is wanting to have it restained. it appears to be just reg pressure treated wood It has a cedar tone stain with a uv protector . All I will be doing is prepping this for who ever she hires to stain and paint the front porch area. I really want to get this job but I want don't to mess up this deck, Also if anyone could give some idea about how you price this kind of work out
  4. Hey Guys and Gals , I have a customer that wants her deck cleaned before she has it painted, I'm going to look at it tomorrow and find out exactly what she wants and what I'm facing, I'm assuming that it is painted already but I'm not sure so, I'm hoping that I can get some suggestions on what I could be looking at having to do. Thanks Lyn
  5. Deposits anyone????

Acutally what i was referring to was not a deposit but more of a fee. Kinda like they have a huge doberman running loose in the back yard or windows open and the owner is not home in which case I would be unable to do the job that they have contracted . so it would have to be rescheulded because as we all know our time is not free and the job that I could not do that day just cost me .I was thinking something along the lines of a $50 dollar fee if the job cannot done because of something the owner did or did not do
  6. Deposits anyone????

I was acutally thinking of adding this same thing to my contract. stressing the things that need to be done in order for us start working , windows closed dogs put away that sort of thing. Have you had sucess with this and have people been understanding about the fee for you not b eing able to work because of something they had done or didn't do??
  7. Motorola Razr

The two things that annoys me about Nextel is the fact that there is no roaming so either you have signal or you don't and the fact that they don't have something other than the beep beep sound , It's rather annoying to be in a store and hear a nextel go off and see 20 people start hunting for there phones to see if it was for them. As for me i use a nextel I730 right now but getting ready to upgrade to the I870. ps... for Durable phones it's hard to beat the old nextel I700's

  9. help with trailer setup

OK finaaly getting ready to bolt all this stuff down, I know its been a while but had a lot of family issues since last post sickness, and death of grandmother. My question is when mounting the pressure washer should i use rubber feet for vibration or mount it directly to the floor of the trailer? once again thanks for all the help. Lyn Talcott 678-410-8804
  10. how to sell equipment??

you can also try to use craigslist to sell it thats where i picked up mine from
  11. help with trailer setup

Hi all well I think I've gotten most of the stuff to hook everything up but The problem that i'm still working on is how to mount the tank. It is a 250 gallon tank with the metal cage around it . If anyone has any ideas on how to do this I would appreciate it. Neil it looks like the one you have , I looked at the pics you posted and it looks like you just have screws running threw the bottom of it. I could be way off on this but I sure could use some advice. Oh yes and to add some humor to your day.... Lastnight after i had bought some stuff for it I decided i gotta try this thing out and see how much more water it puts out as opposed to my lil 2.5gpm homedepot unit well i hooked up the water to it and fired up the motor and realized about 2 seconds later that in my haste i forgot to hook anything up to the bypass so lets just say I got a nice shower as i rushed to cut it off! Have a great day everyone Lyn Talcott
  12. help with trailer setup

Thanks for the reply Paul, That makes me feel a little better because the way it is set up now the inlet and unloader are on the same side and if i mounted it this way it would have my pressure hose coming out towards the back of the trailer and then having to curve around. would prefer not to do that to reduce any stress on the fittings. Also could you explain a little more about remote mounting the unloader right now it is hooked on to about a 4-5 in piece of pipe. And just to clarify i can have the unloader coming out one side of the pump and the inlet coming in on the other side and everything will be good? I know this may sound like some silly questions but i really don't want to screw this thing up
  13. help with trailer setup

anone have any ideas on my pump question?
  14. help with trailer setup

One other question on my pump they have the supply and the pressure washer connection on the same side is this necessary or could i move the unloader to the other side of the pump so that it would feed out the pressure hose straight out of the back of the trailer?
  15. My Car is for sale!!
