Here is how you do it. 1 Use a precarb on the deck to clean off mold. 2 Lightly sand with a 36 or 50 grit paper to remove off old loose stain. 3 Apply Benj. Moore Solid color stain on it. 4 Tell customer that you may get some peeling on it all they have to do is do a light sand on it and apply stain over the top. If working around water do not use a stripper on it you may kill the fish. -

If you spray your clothing with any kind of chemicals always wash them seperatly. Good info Scott. I still suggest have the homeowner get the lawn sprayed before you do the job again. -

I would try to split the cost, and if they had a fit about it I would take the hit. -
After you figure on how you are going to do it contact the DNR and explain to them on what you are going to do. Then ask for a letter stating that they approve of your methods.

Why this business

Well the reason why I started this business was at the time I was able to be able to be there when they needed a ride to school, doctor, or anything else. Summers are hectic for me since I own 2 businesses. As for the down time I am able to coach basketball and take my family on trips. Thank God my wife and kids are supportative. Charlie -

Worked in the pest control industry for 10 prior to starting my Deck Restoration business. While working and doing decks on week-ends decided to go full time in restoration. After my non-compete clause ended I also started a pest control business part-time. Both businesses are similiar in many ways as both pertain to customer satisfaction in keeping customers. Charlie -

Becareful about bartering there is a another form you will have to fill out when you are doing your taxes. Charlie
