Our Annual California Round Table is almost booked !!!!

Recommended Posts

As some already know, we have had our Round Tables a bit differently than the norm.

For a few years now, we have had special events such as Court-side seats to the NBA which included Dinner with one or more of the players and or All Access even to the locker rooms.

Last year we had a 49 ft sailing Yacht with License crew as transportation to and from the ATT Baseball Park. Once there we had Luxury suites with all the fixings for us to enjoy while we watched the game.

By popular demand, we decided to have the Sailing Yacht this year except we have upgraded to a 50+ ft. Photos shown below.

Last year we only invited 3 people from *** to attend. Two could not make it , one did. Because of this, we had many others say they would like to go if they only was invited. So I will open the remanding tickets to members on The Grime Scene.

Tickets to attend are non refundable and must be purchase on a first come first serve bases. Meaning, you say you are going, but do not pay ASAP, that spot will be available to anyone else who pays first. You snooze you loose.

This 2 day even will costs us over 18k. Your tickets offered here at the Grime Scene are for SUNDAY AUG 29 th, 2010 ONLY ! Saturday was filled in 5 hours after they became available.

The cost per ticket FOR SUNDAY ONLY is $450 per person. This will include the Sailing Yacht of approximately 4 to 7 hours, The game in the executive suites on Aug 29th ONLY.

PLEASE NOTE: Lodging and food is your responsibility and is not included We will recommend that the hotel you pick is located at the Oakland Airport AREA . NO TRANSPORTATION is provided to or from the hotel for any reason.

Schedule:

7:40 AM On boat call. Loading

8:10 am Safety Instructions given by Captain as required by Coast Guard.

8:30 AM Taxing out to Bay. If you miss the 9:00 launch, you missed the event. No refunds

12 NOON Arriving at Willie Cove. Disembark

1:00 PM LETS PLAY BALL !!!!

4:00 PM Loading on the boat for the cruise back

8:00 PM Arrival at the Marina.

Costs for pre order through May is $275* per person which includes a $175 discount. In the last 24 hours when we decided to put these out for sale, only 12 tickets remain available out of 32, we expect these to go fast.

* a $30 gratuity for the crew is required on top of the $275 pp pricing.

Here is the Sailing Yacht. To my knowledge it was built 2010. It only has been out once since it was built.

Boy, Maybe the pricing is to low. Phone is ringing off the hook!!!

At least let me try to answer some of the commonly asked questions here:

The price for Purchasing in May is $275 dollars per person. You have to find your own lodging, transportation and food.

We only suggest the Hilton in Oakland because it is only a few miles from the Marina and is a good location. They have shuttle rides to and from the Airport, however this is your decision.

The boat is well over 1 million dollar boat and will have a Licensed crew and captain. The boat is not open to the general public and is a private boat.

Saturday is ALREADY FILLED ( BOOKED ) The $650+ pricing was for the Saturday event. Saturday is more lavish than Sunday and may include a Surprised visit from a professional baseball player to meet and sign autographs during the game. NOT CONFIRMED YET. As some of you know already, my brother is the financial Advisor to 60 or more professional baseball players... Josh Beckett, CC, Jimmy Rollins, Milton Bradley Etc.

Last year, some got to meet Willie Mays.

Are we having a Keynote speaker? NO. Just a gathering to talk about the industry, your thoughts as you sip some wine and enjoy a assortment of cheeses and crackers. To see how the one half or 1 percent of the wealthy lives.

I understand that some may not be able to come to the event because of the economy. But if you can find the money, trust me, you cannot get his package with a license crew, the type of yacht and the executive suite for only $275.

No, I am not holding any tickets until game day.

If you cannot pay until June ( For example ) and if there are any are left, the cost would be $450.00 per person. $900 per couple.

I do not expect any tickets available by June when the time the pricing goes up.

I'm sure that Jim will give the sectrets of selling Garages. The first day will be all his customers in the biz, the second day will be PW in the biz.

I'm sure some slime will be watching this thread and hanging by the docks to hand Jim customers cards.

Jims a great Salemen, gotta give him that. He is selling this trip, this will be informative and I'm sure worth the money just in the leasure aspects.

You are right Ron. I will be, if asked, talking about many topics of Garage Cleaning on the 4 to 8 hour yachting trip around the bay.

We will be heading over to Treasure Island, going under the Bay Bridge, seeing the construction of the new bridge and many other locations. If there is time, we may even go out to open waters.

Thank You for the complement.

Hey, I missed your call yesterday. Call me anytime at 510-612-0437. Sorry I did not answer it. Been very busy.

Jim,

This is inappropriate comment.

You know, Your right. William just gets to me with his petty comments.

This is a good thing any many many other pressure washers agree.

I am not asking for the true costs here of over 650 dollars per person. many on the boards can or can not afford this. I am not sure I would even go if I had to pay 1,300 dollars for my wife and myself. The fact is, I am paying over $400 dollars per person so that others can enjoy a life style that only a few experience.

If William calls this an ego trip. Well.....

If someone says that is an ego trip, then they have a problem... not I

Hey Jim thanks for the invite. Kathy and I would love to go to this but like I told you on the phone with My duaghters National Dance Competition in Florida in July and our Summer Vacation with family in August this would for this year at least be pretty much impossible to attend. Maybe Next year.

I like the idea though and your right for what your offering it would be much more then $550/couple for a day of that. Nothing like having fun and combining business with it where you can write the whole thing off. I am sorry I missed the PWNA Convention Cruise a few years back but My youngest was just born then. Man that would have been great to do that and write it all off.

Good luck on this Business/Fun adventure. Me and Kathy have San Fransico On our list of places to visit and since my parents have been there and loved it one day will make it there and do a week with hopefully one of your Trips right in there with it.

Quick note I think my parents went to San Fran a few years back because they went to a Convention there for my Dads business and they also made a trip out of it....Thats the way to do it for sure.

OK Jim, now you have officially been caught and have p*ssed off the admin. Shame, shame, shame.

There has been discussion about your habit of insulting and then editing your posts.

This is going to stop. I have a copy of this thread unedited in the Staff area. Now that I have proof, I am going to take the advice of the TGS staff, and you are going to lose the ability to edit your posts. This will allow us to see without any question if you are insulting or inappropriate to other members. I have given you an infraction. After you reach the maximum, you will be banned by the system for a preset amount of time. I URGE YOU TO BE NICE!!!!

Enjoy the forums.....nicely!

Sorry Beth, it was probably my petty comments that pushed him over the edge(of the yacht) :) I'm not really a Richard Petty fan, although I am from the underclassed South.

Each of us is responsible for our own behavior. It is the 2010 busy season and please folks remember your customers and potential customers CAN SEE THIS....professionalism is VERY important.
