Mark, I am glad your having such luck with the product out in Az. I have had no so luck here in Ct with the product. Mildew being the main issue. Areas with direct sunlight and overhangs look good. The Grey has been the best color for me so far and easiest to at least re-clean. Some stuff is just black after 2 years. I will still use it on a limited bases for certain projects.

Climate must be taken into consideration when selecting a sealer. You need to compare like areas with a product.

James & Pat: Your comments notwithstanding, this is a photograph taken from my back porch.

The temperature this morning was 3 (three) degrees below zero.

The fence in question is a couple of miles down the road.

I guess some here dont realize that Arizona is a Testing ground for alot of exterior products because of the extreme conditions and climate changes. Not saying its the best place on earth but is products can take the heat we get and sometimes the lows. WELL its likely someothing I'm going to buy.

Mark, how have you been? I was up in Chino at the punkin Patch and called you. I guess your a bust guy enjoying your semi retirement.

The backyard looks like more than you want to enjoy in Chino valley.

If your down in the Valley you got my number give me a Jingle.

Mark, let me know how my guys are doing on the Albertsons Target and Walmart in Prescott if your in shopping. They are get serviced at the end of the month. Help me with quality control. We also do buckys Casino but they do not wash often enough.

Happy holidays Mark

We've had incredible results in NC....hot summers, high humidity, frequent rain, and this year even snow. No mildew issues

We have had instances of completely opposite results and are only 20 minutes away so our conditions would be comparable. Other applications have held well so it's not an across the board fail.

I can only report on my results. Results in the southwest have no bearing on what I get in New England. The results are and have been consistent .

It's the Climate Zones across the country for humidity that are important to me. Az is in the driest.

I Agree with your results in your climate are the most important. But if you have info on failure from different regions and why these studys can help if your climate has some temporary change. Lets face it the temps and humidity has been acting funny throughout the states from year to year.

I hear the north east has more mold lately than it ever has, this means warmer damp periods.

Your correct AZ is the dry state, I would say we have alot of climates. Fall just hit us a few weeks ago in the valley and winter is finally here. It will last 45 days if we are lucky and feb will bring warmer temps.

New england your lucky if you can swim in a Pool!!! Well you guys might think its warm enough but being from a hot dry state the blood has gotten thin.

Interesting point Beth. The creation of food sources for mildew growth is a topic that hasn't been touched . Some types of sealers with linseed oil attract these more than others and contribute to the acceleration of mildew growth. Even though they have mildewsides in them the surface attracts the foreign matter like pollen. Some sealers are like "Mold Magnets".
