ACR Round Table March 10th 2012! Mark your calendars NOW!

So in order to be certified and to take any of these classes I have to be a PWNA member? Is it always this way at round tables? I'm interested in Wood Restore, cement sealing, and Seal And Lock classes

Sealnlock you do not have to be to receive your certificate. I don't think you can get the certificate to the Pwna without being a member. I could be wrong, you could be certified in the past without being a member.

Have not been to a round table yet and this one is in driving distance from my home

I am not a member of the PWNA, is it worth for me to go?

The Pwna is just providing some instruction. Acr will have many other things I think will be much more valuable.

Actually Ron, the PWNA class was very valuable to us when we were new, and was a great marketing tool as well. So I would not slight it or say something else has more value. Coming from the President of *****, that sounds like a ding at a competing org, and is not a very professional stance IMHO. I would have hoped, that you might have instead taken the high road and said something like ALL education is of value and it is wonderful to see ARC offering such a wide variety of options.

The PWNA is offering certification classes there on roof cleaning and the other one is on housewashing etc. You have to be a PWNA member to sign up for those classes and there backed by the PWNA organization which is a plus especially for marketing and networking.

There are also many other classes being offered there and some may have certifications to go with them such as Jerry McMillian from Sorocco who is teaching a class that you can get a certification thru him which I hear is an excellent class. That class is also very reasonable in cost and once again you learn alot and you can market your certification.

So far I plan on taking Jerry's certification class and the PWNA's Environmental one when we go to there Convention in October.

As for the breakout sessions, demo's, speakers and food and all the hospitality and networking and friendships you make there all come with the small price tag to attend this ACR Roundtable.. You'll be happy you did.

No Beth only you have taken it that way, it was directed at the man who asked the question. Pwna is just providing training. I'm sure there will be much more valuable instruction that doesn't require membership privileges.

Acr has alway had better instruction and hands on demo much better than most past conventions of ***** & Pwna. I'm sorry these are the facts. Trust me the Pwna should be thankful to be present at the event. I'm sorry if saying Tom and Barbara show has much more value than any one person or org can offer.

I'm sorry for offending an being so called un professional. Truth the way I prefer to tell it.

This event is always wonderful. Barbara & Tom always have a first rate line up and are very in touch with the industry and what will be helpful to contractors. They listen, they ask attendees what they might be interested in for future events and they work to make it happen. We have always felt like we left the event having spent our time well. There is a nice mix of veterans and new folks. It speaks highly that the number of veterans is so high. If there was not something for all, you would not see so many in business for so long at the events. This in turn makes it a very valuable place for the newbies to be. The knowledge base is vast and deep on many fronts and if you walk away with nothing it's because you slept through it and spoke to no one.

See you there!

Beth :cup: :sunshine:

Tom is a great guy.. passionate of being a quality supplier, driven to be a valuable supplier to his customers.

.. Thus, highly recognized as orchestrator of quality educational events.

You are going to see industry professionals, some competitive, behaving professionally, carrying the same flag.. the ACR flag..

having the PWNA at the same event as a Sirocco Wash Water Control Certification, and HydroTek demonstrations means one thing to me..

Community.. Professional community, with a positive productive attitude to the benefit of community.. the ACR community.

and I'm very glad to be a player at this years' ACR Roundtable, and I am confident ALL that attend will GREATLY benefit.

I'm trying like heck to get to this roundtable because it's going to be a good one as always.I have some family issues and a job where about to start that may have to take precedence.. It's going to be a midnight hour decision.

Either way Do not miss this roundtable if you have the time.. There's a reason why Tom and Barbara from ACR have the longest running and always successful event..

Besides the PWNA Conventions every year with some being excellent and others being ok.. ACR's roundtable has to be just about the longest running and always excellent in the industry.. Sometimes they do two a year there so successful but this one seems to be a little more special.

I'll try my best to get there and if you can make it.. As Michael Jordan said.. "Just do it" ... You won't regret it.

Is anyone bring $$ or equipment for a swap meet so to speak like last time....... its spring time and time to get it all in gear.

If anyone is interested , I have a 16hp Briggs with a roots blower 36 vaccum reclaim system hooked to a Scirocco PEV2 electric vaccum with auto pump out. Have the best of both worlds, gas or electric vaccum reclaim based upon your needs at the time. The roots blower 36 is good for up to 330cfm i belive so this thing is a beast...... make an offer for it...... can deliver to ACR Round Table.

Anyone got anything to sell?? Lets hear about it....

The Sandler Training was a great topic.

Beth and I have both ...well she went through the training, I use the method she brought home to learn from, but we both get great results.

I recommend it to anyone who is having sales issues and or challenges they don't know how to solve.

PWNA and Sirroco also made presentations which gave those attending opportunities to make additional money.

In addition, there were some great giveaways by Hydro Tek, AR pumps, Summit Hose Reels, Armstrong and Ready Seal.

Beth and I enjoyed the event and got to speak with a great number of people of whom we knew and hadn't met yet.

The networking provided some insight as to the trends and direction of our market and as of now, it looks promising.

Have a great year everyone!

Rod!~
