Thanks to the great response with the pre-registrations for the event. Jack and I are excited with many of the new faces we are seeing as well as many friends that we have had for years. We are putting some finishing touches on the speaker / presenter schedule. We would like to offer a very warm welcome to Allison Hester who confirmed with us yesterday that she would be attending the Seminar.

One of the unique items that you will be hearing about in Albany is an Opening morning session titled "Disaster Response; The Aftermath of Superstorm Sandy". This will be presented by Tom DeFrancesco of J&T Mobile Wash and Matt Johnson of Pressure Washing Services. Learn about the issues related to responding to a widespread disaster and components of a multistage response system used based on your advance teams assessment of the situation. See the photos, understand the hurdles and appreciate the preparation the contractor must do to be successful.

A further note on the break out session topics during the dual tract presentations Saturday Morning.

We have looked at your comments from last years event on topics to present and have selected many. If there is anything you would like to suggest as a topic, we welcome your input. This is your event and our goal is to provide you with the tools to increase sales and net profit.

A Special thanks goes out to Jake Clark for Sponsoring the Event as the Diamond Sponsor and we thank him for sponsoring the Welcome Reception thursday night. Show up early, relax in the pool courtyard (yes it is an indoor pool) where the reception is held. Its a great way to start out the seminar!

Matt

I am looking forward to the opening presentation. I too did some work after Hurricane Sandy and would like to see other professional perspectives that were gained based upon the specific circumstances that you encountered where you were working. This was some storm that affected a huge area. There was a lot of work going on....

Contractors can learn a lot from this.

Hey Mike nice talking to you last night. I am to looking so forward to hear what Matt & Tom are going to say in that presentation. Matt called me when you guys were out on the Island and if I wasn't backed up with out of state garages and residential commitments I would've been in those area's you guys were in. We had multiple calls especially from the South shore areas that got creamed here on the island but I just couldn't get there..

Opportunity lost but still want to hear what you guys dealt with.

Yea John, we are getting pretty excited about the event. The maintenance class is generating a lot of buzz and we have gotten several sign ups, we expect to fill that class pretty quick. I will definitely be attending Jim Foleys Lecture, he is one of the smartest wood pros I know

We have a quickbooks certified pro trainer presenting Saturday morning before the breakout tracts and look forward to another couple big announcements is the near future about the event.

One of the breakout sessions will also be on "informatics", using today's technology and low cost software to manage your business contracts and customer base.

Jack is working on a presentation that many will be attending.

At last years event, we had an informal get together one night and it was some of the best roundtable networking, through the positive feedback from the attendees, we put it on the schedule this year. It will be a blast!

Be looking for this weeks constant contact newsletter for an event update"

I look forward to seeing everyone in Albany
