Tony buying a new truck 20,000

Tony not showing up to speak about environmental awareness....PRICELESS

Glad to see that some events are actually beneficial to contractors. Matt did one heck of a job from what I have heard. And John and Jims garage event is only the topping of the cake. I have seen Jims rigs and am very impressed. And having worked with John on several garages years ago well he knows his stuff. Good luck gentlemen...

Thanks Rob. I learned alot on those garages we worked on together. This is where these Industry events work where guys just like us can hook up to work together. One of the main reasons why I support these events.

As for Tony not showing up to Rons Jersey event after all Ron has done for him... I just dont believe that. I can't find that post on *** so maybe they pulled it or there Just joking around.

The internet anyone can say anything. Many of us don't believe Tony really is who he portrays himself to be on the net.

I believe Tony is a man of his word and if he said he's going to be there... He'll be there. Many think Tony is full of bull but I'll take the higher road and say he'll be there because he said he would.

For some maybe.....

If I wanted to write a check to "the industry" who would I make that out to? Where would I mail it?

Can't tell ya, he is the only one that does not need to list an address on the BOD page of their website.......

I just think it's very interesting how "giving back to the industry" seems to be connected to paying membership dues. If I help a new guy.....all I did was help a new guy. If I was a dues paying member of the ***** or PWNA.....when I help a new guy, I gave back to "the industry".

It's a marketing gimmick....It's like televangelism, swap tv for youtube and God for "the Industry".

I think you'd be further ahead giving to God. Just saying.

But as in power washing, you have to be very careful in choosing which representative you chose to funnel your gift through.

and the Priceless remark....Funny...just too funny. Gosh, I am still laughing.

Wish you could go to the event. As a rule, I do not drink, but with you at the table, I would have a few. Just make sure we have 911 on speed dial.. I am not 18 anymore....LOL

Hi Everyone. Is it just me, or has this forum changed from something that was created to help & inform others in the industry, to something that to me,[ even tho i'm in different country] appears to be focused lately on destroying people/companys reputations? I log on to read about the same back stabbing, *****ing subject day after day. As I said, I'm in a different country & what happens in the US, doesn't affect me, but this whole sorry subject has been going on for months [?] It's like being given bread every day, for breakfast, lunch & dinner. After a while, you want nothing to do with it. It gives you a head ache, so you avoid it. And I don't think that is the aim of this organization. Is it?

Any hoo, just my opinion. Take it or leave it. No doubt i will cop some sort of flack from some of you, but thats ok. Thats life. Just be prepared for the response.

All the best for 2013. Make a killing & try not to do any!!!!

You are correct Mick ! It's the same people who create controversy and medal in every area of the industry . They suck people into the controversy and they become part of its history never to be let out. History has a way of repeating it's self . At some point sides need to be taking. So this is a never ending story.

To be continued ?

I've been to so many Roundtables over the years I pretty much have heard it all. Most of these Roundtables seem to be geared more towards the person with 2 or yrs less in the business which leads me to the NJ Roundtable coming up.

For me being in business for 18yrs now there's not much there I'll learn from which is why if I go I want to hear what Tony ************** has to say because he's the U_MCC Enviro Chair.

I just went over to that bb where most are banned from and just saw Rons post of the up to date as to who's speaking and it says as clear as day that "Industry leader" Tony ************** enviro director is indeed speaking.

Did Ron post the schedule for that RT yet?

Micky,

We are trying to keep the drama off of this forum. We apologize for the spill over of any of it that may have begun elsewhere and propagated here too. Hopefully it will be a much more pleasant and professional forum from here on out.

Beth

I suppose it would seem like a distraction from the other side of the planet.....well outside of the consequences and actions of a national Org.

I think it's time to retire the Org discussion forum here.....perhaps take it to a blog.

Good Post !

By the way, I see that you did not fill out your signature or phone number. Could you please correct that. Would love to see your site or to call you someday.

Our environmental Parking Garage Event that is going to Las Vegas next week is getting calls from Europe to have one over there. Not sure if I am ready for that just yet, but I will entertain it to explore the possibilities on having the event in Germany.

Again, Please fill out your information. If you do not know how, a Moderator will help you....just ask.

Hi Jim, I don't have a site. Don't really need one to bring in the business as I have long standing contracts, which keeps me busy enough as it is. As for the signature, I thought I had been. Why hasn't this been pointed out to me before? Cheers.

Ron just posted a list of people going to the NJ RT. He has Tony ************** on the advertising as an industry leader "Not Going". Now there's a first. Advertising people not going. Now that's creative... Lol

Any body old enough around here to remember a cat named

Eddie Haskel?

Adrian,

Too easy, Leave it to Beaver. As I remember, Beav's mom, June Cleaver, was very attractive behind that 50's hairstyle and attire.

Not that I'm aware of Adrian. Perth's a bit small, about 3 million I think. Theres no association to speak of, regarding pressure cleaning.
