Wood restoration-Powerwashing-Softwashing????

Question

We get phone calls all the time that go like this-- "we would like an estimate on Powerwashing our Cedar sided house"..

Sometimes I think they say like that on the Business phone because my Company name ends in Powerwashing as in Clean County Powerwashing.

Us wood guys all know your not really "Power" Washing the siding. Your either stripping the wood or cleaning the wood but your not "Powerwashing"the wood. Soft washing to me sounds like a week name to say your doing when it comes to wood restoration.

Is there a better name for Wood restoration that can be a more common term to bring out to the masses?

I know I'm over thinking this but it's not like I don't over think things anyway. What's a better term to tell someone who wants there Cedar sided house Powerwashed?

If you are not restaining the house then you are just cleaning or washing it. Unless its the whole works then I would call it restoration
