0 tropical wave 22 Report post Posted August 26, 2006 Thanks guys n gal, I thought it would have been more of a nightmare to strip than it turned out to be. I did a test with full strength SH and it melted the thickest areas on the verticals in less than 7 minutes, so to avoid severe fuzz and not punish the wood too much, I cut the TimberStrip Pro to 5-6 oz per gallon, lengthened the dwell a bit and it worked well. I easily could have went to 4 oz per gallon but didn't. (hindsight) Some spindles hung on tight, but were easily cleaned up with the makita defelter. The fascia and the top rails worried me with numerous coats, but wow, they melted away and no fuzz to boot. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
