-
Yeah, I tried also. Beth should be able to figure it out.
-
Beth can you please embed this video like you did the one about McCain. Thanks in advance, it's only fair. Tim

$1.15/gal, pull up and fill tanks directly. We usually get 150 gallons at a time. They call it 10.5%, but it's shipped at 12-13% according to the supplier.

Cool slide show, this would look great on a website. -
That is a great gutter trophy!!!! One of the best I've seen. I use stihl backpacks, 420 magnums I'm pretty sure. They make stronger ones, but to me these are more practical, lighter, and reliable.

Tom, we probably book 60-70% of the calls we get out of the books. We got a retirement home out of our cheapist book that will more than pay for all of the books for the year (88 homes). We finished the homes earlier in the summer, and will start on the roofs this winter. We get the calls, but we have to sell the jobs. The books advertise our website and this really give us the upper hand. We do get window shoppers, but not too many. 1k is hard to swallow, but it is allowing us to build our client list up pretty fast.

It's official, I am a downstreamer.....

Good job! The more pratical you make your rig, the faster you will become. Time is MONEY! Never stop thinking of new ways to do things. -
None taken Vanilla, all in good fun.

I checked my nozzle chart this time, and I believe a 7 will flow 2.47gpm @ 500 psi, or a 6.5 will flow 2.52gpm @ 600psi if your pump is flowing properly. Please correct this if it isn't right.

sorry man, i just don't like taking the time to capitalize. my bad, i don't even know i'm doing it.

I FIGURED 10 WOULD PUT HIM CLOSE. JOHN, I LIKE THE LOWPSI.COM URL, GREAT FIND. ARE YOU A SOFTWASHER OR DO YOU USE A PRESSURE WASHER TO CLEAN HOMES? NICE SITE ALSO!
-
YOU SHOULD BE USING A 3 OR 3.5 NOW, PROBABLY A 10 OR SO WOULD BRING YOU DOWN WHERE YOU WANT TO BE. I DON'T HAVE MUCH EXPERIRNCE WITH 2.5GPM, BUT THAT IS PROBABLY PRETTY CLOSE.

I HEAR THIS FROM A LOT OF GUYS IN OTHER AREAS. I ALSO GET CALLS FROM MY TRUCKS, WORD OF MOUTH, WEBSITE, ETC. I PAY A GRAND A MONTH TO ADVERTISE IN 3 DIFFERENT BOOKS IN MY TOWN. I ADMIT THAT THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE, BUT MY PHONE RINGS ALL WEEK LONG. I RUN THE TOP FULL COLOR ADS, LISTING MY WEB ADDRESS, SO WHEN PEOPLE LOOK IN THE YELLOW PAGES THEY SEE MY AD FIRST. PEOPLE AROUND HERE REALLY RELY ON THE YELLOW PAGES FOR INFORMATION.
-
Good news, you will be much happier with the higher flow. YELLOW PAGES!

ACTUALLY, I "THINK " 3.5 IS WHAT HE WOULD NEED FOR HIS GPM AND PRESSURE TO GET IT PERFECT. I HAVE RAN TEST ON ALL MY WASHERS WITH PRESSURE GAUGES AND FLOW METERS. I HAVE RAN TWO DIFFERENT TIPS IN A SURFACE CLEANER TO REACH THE MAX OUTPUT (FLOW/PRESS) WITH NO PROBLEMS, BUT I ALSO CAN'T FIND A 1.5 SO HE CAN RUN 2-2'S, HE WOULD JUST LOOSE A COUPLE HUNDRED LBS OF PRESSURE. I RUN 2- 4.5 TIPS IN MY SURFACE CLEANER TO GET A FULL 8GPM AND THE MOST PRESSURE AT THAT FLOW. TIP ORFICE SIZE DOSEN'T ALWAYS EQUAL GPMS, YOU HAVE TO EQUATE PRESSURE IN THERE TOO. BELOW IS MY "FLOW/PRESSURE" TESTER! HE'S THE BEST IN THIS AREA!

PLAINPANTER- I Think The Only Drawback Is Water Supply On Some Homes. 4-5 Gpm Washers Don't Always Need A Tank Suppliment, 8+ Washers Do. Fuel Probably Equals Out Since You Work Much Faster. Jarrod Is Right It's "flow" Not "pressure", Except Flatwork, We Run About 2800 Or So To Our 36" Surface Cleaner Depending On The Surface We Are Cleaning.

I OWN 2 (4.5 @ 3500), 1 (5 @ 3000), 1 (3 @ 2000), & A 8.5 @ 3600. THE 8GPM MAKES THE OTHERS FEEL "WEAK". WE WASH SO MUCH FASTER WITH THE 8GPM IT'S ALMOST LIKE STEALING. I HAD NO IDEA I WAS WASTING MY TIME WITH 4 & 5 GALLON MACHINES FOR 10 YEARS. I'M GETTING A 10GPM AS SOON AS I CAN.
-
Try your best to get the 5.5gpm washer, you will be amazed at what a little more water will do for your "working time". Portable may be best till you figure everything out, you can always mount it directly to the trailer if you want to later.
-
PRESSURE IS A LITTLE LOW, BUT WILL BE FINE WITH MORE "FLOW". WE CLEAN WITH 8GPM @ 3200 AND I WANT MORE "FLOW"! MORE WATER EQUALS MORE CLEANING POWER @ EQUAL PRESSURES. SPEED, SPEED, SPEED, TIME IS MONEY.
-
DAWN WILL WORK FINE, AGITATE WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS.

MAKE IT SOAPY, RANDO!
