    I used to work for S***MAXX. At best they provided TERRIBLE customer service (IF ANY), on a job that many innocent people paid 2-3 times the price of the competition, in hopes to "Never seal your deck again". They are shown pictures of FRESHLY done jobs when they placed an order. About 8-10 months later, the phones began to ring.....people were IRATE. IF they called enough times, or threatened to sue or report the company, MAYBE S***MAXX..MAAAAAAAAYBE....would go look at it (then stall them as long as possible). As I understand, they're close to bankrupt. My thoughts: "Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!!"

    I used to work at S***MAXX. The experience was bad for me, and DISASTROUS for many of the customers. The work is sloppy. The appliers work on commission. (Work fast/get to the next one!) No one cares about a complaint unless there's a threat of a lawsuit, or a call to The Attorney General's office. MANY nice people,,,,,hard working people,,,,paid about 2-3 times what a DECENT company would have charged to do a deck, and 8-10 months later the phone started ringing off the hook with irate calls. After they have the cutomer's money, it's pretty much a "Let 'em holler. IF they holler enough, MAYBE we'll do something" attitude. As a business, they're close to bankrupt. My feelings: Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!!!
