Well what Cabot product you refering to Mike? Between foot traffic/durability issues, and the lack of ability to fully encase deck boards away from moisture, the Cabot has not shown me suitable product either in their oil line or acrylic line to go over existing synthetic coatings...Existing oil coating perhaps yes,, but acylic I doubt. ProVT their synthetic offering is nt suitable...pdf info specifically restricts it for horizontals..

We've had our fair share of signs being stolen on the propositions as well Scott. We also had the horrible obama grafiti on a fence episode just a couple mile from me. Thought about doing the removal for free as a bizness ploy but thought better of it. Hey thanx Rick. I edited my post above as the OVT is not for horizontal decking but rather really only verticle wood such as siding, pergola, railing systems, etc. I do believe though for certan cases that it would act sufficiently as it's own primer in going over an acrylic just like oil based primer. Was sold to me as such anyways... So but yea on the horizontals it is always a concern on what can be used over an existing situation and when it comes to that existing situation being an acrylic I always strip it off befre going with an oil. If it case of using ovt on verticles I try to stick with using the 7400 series on the stripped horizontal parts. Mike, sounds you might have bit off more of a job than your currently ready for. Do a bunch of forum searching here and you should come up with something to get off the existing solid if it is acrylic. I never take a solid job less I know I can get it off or work with it.

ahh..don't beat yerelf up over it.. job like that with all them coatings being removed is like a situation where they should be thankful it still intact..lol.. Personally I would have prepared customer for the possability that they have to go through a couple restainings before they have chance at durability and stability of coloring. We don't always see all the things that can go wrong, all we can do is try to work with what we got. Sometimes we got past basis or experience and sometimes we don't. Sometmes we just got crap wood. Sometimes we got understanding customers and proper expectation.

Although the 'first black president' wasn't absolutely needed it did suffice to describe who he was refering to and was a sort of prelude to some sarcastic truth. Note that he did not place a contrasting comment after by use of a comma as he does further on so there is no direct insult or really any racism/hate to speak of. If anything I think his composition and use of 'first black president' is perhaps meant to say that some will vote based on color and that 'they' could have done better...Well he may not be saying that at all and just acknowledging rather that it is an important opportunity for a black person to become president and the choice of who to hold up is a bad one. ..Same thing applies to a first woman president. Can't say I care for Hilary and would about puke if she ever got in there.... :) I tend to shy away from refering to the man as black as it really is a non-issue for me. I call him Obama.

Is why I mentioned extractive blackening on redwood...now what is this I hearin about peno formula change?. I always assumed the extreme nasty smell that lasts for weeks was from terps. On the lasting 4-5 year...is that in the sun and by use of the red can?. I've seen red version go totaly colorless in direct sun in under two year but seen blue label look like new undergoing same amount of time in the shade.

Olympic Maximum is a synthetic fortified type...and but I've used Cabot 7400 semi solid.. is more of an old school curing oil type. Not for going over existing coatings though.. They both have decent color options.

IF he elected then how it be a mistake?. Well the one advantage to a slow Halloween was that everyone had real good candy to give up..lots of big chocholate bars :).. slowest Halloween on record around here I would say. People take kids to malls and churches any more these days. We like oldschool door to door though. I entertained by dressing up and acting like a zombie and the wife was a witch. People got kick out of us not wanting to leave and trying to continue on into their houses. Was funny stuff with some being very friendly and others being duds. Those ones you just move on and let them be the weirdos they are..lol. Kids got tired one time around the block...funniest thing was happening up on the neighbor lady dressed up all slutty walking the streets with her kids. She was kinda into the unknown zombie flirting with her. Wifey and I don't really associate with her and her kids poor attitude though so..

Sorry Rod but last I heard there has been no birth certificate produced. After the fact birth registration has been claimed, if not proven, as a forgery. The arguement that has been put fourth is that he was born in Kenya and his mother was not able to pass along citizenship to him due to the laws on the books when born. She was not of suitable age is the basis. Also heard court case either failed, or was thrown out & dismissed in some way due to some premiss that it needed to be the opposing political party doing the action or some such junk as if private person can't file case. The whole thing of renounced citizenship in order to become Indonesian citiizen(if he a citizen that is) may be moot point as then the question would be did he actually ever go through such process. Is there records or papers done up and officially endorsed, etc. by U.S.? So hey if he was indeed born in Hawaii then so be it, I and the law would consider him citizen. If born elsewhere then no he isn't due to laws of the day...Don't ask me to provide the old code as I haven't seen it. Why no records or school records produced?..besides avg. grades, likely cause grant papers show Indonesian citizenship. Indonesia don't allow dual citizenship. Where's the renouncment papers they likely would have needed?. Probably aint none cause...well we just don't know do we..

Oh come on!! We all know the reasons they can't produce the papers. Could be that when yer born on an island chain such as Hawaii it is smart to travel lite to meet up with the three wise men. I mean they don't just fly or boat over to meet ya these days, and can you imagine the amount of papers involved in an immaculate conception?.. Duh..!! Then of course problem could be that God wasn't very good lover and so mom left him off the birth certificate. :lgbonk:

Welcome back! Interesting to hear that yours does more than rated for with nozzles out. Thanx.. :) I'll give ya more info pertaining to my case below..posted on other forum in order to hear more opinion and experiences of the flow others may actually be getting.
