  1. Obama - Biden - Your Opinion ?

What's more laughable than a fella not offering a single thing of meaning to ponder in a thread about his candidate yet focuses on someone that isn't even running?... Maybe a dem or two here think this thread is a dem luv fest or a circle jerk competition..lmaof :) I can really tell how much some you value your constitution by how much you belittle the protecting of it. James go ahead and tell us all about all the non factual events the Joyce foundation didn't fund or take part in while Obama was with them.
  2. e250???

Well then Dane if yer on the flats all the time and 3.0 did fine then there ya go..4.9 will be world of difference. I remember back when I used minivans the difference between just the 3.0 caravan and the 3.3 was pretty huge. My Xterra has a 6 in it and I plan to stick a hitch on it at some point here for backup use. One thing helping you out is you don't have the full size hotwater unit to haul. They can add about 700lb compared to a cold washer. ps- far as van compared to truck or trailer...Depends on many things like lifestyle or vehicle is to be dedicated soley to work or not. No way am I ever putting a hot water machine in a van unless it is purely a cargo van that is all crapped up. Deisel or gas stinks running in vehicles and if there ever a fire the vehicle is done for. Trailer can limit where ya can park. Sometimes in downtown situations parking can be a challenge but I don't do much of that so... I find still having my truck bed available for large item moving or personal use so I never plan to load it full of equipment all the time. I also use my truck to transport the whole family so can't see having anything else unless it was dedicated for work only. Open trailer or flatbed can be a security issue and everything gets wet. Much to consider in vehicle choice. A dedicated box van would be my choice.
  3. e250???

Depending on how hilly your area is and how much passing power ya like to have I'd say the smaller engine be ok with that setup upto say 1200-1500 payload on the trailer. Keep the tank half full or so and it probably be fine in any case...just going off my current 4.7L truck pulling load regularly up the Sierra.

  5. Obama - Biden - Your Opinion ?

Texas State Rifle Association Political Action To TSRA Members: Below is an open letter from the Illinois State Rifle Association's chief lobbyist Illinois State Rifle Association 420 E. Locust, P.O. Box 637, Chatsworth , IL 60921 Phone: (815) 635-3198 or (815) 635-3166 Fax: (815) 635-3723 Website: www.isra.org Fellow Sportsman: Over the past 15 years, I have served in the Illinois state capitol as the chief lobbyist for the Illinois State Rifle Association. I lobbied Barack Obama extensively while he was an Illinois State Senator. As a result of that experience, I know Obama’s attitudes toward guns and gun owners better than anyone. The truth be told, in all my years in the Capitol, I have never met a legislator who harbors more contempt for the law-abiding firearm owner than Barack Obama. Although Obama claims to be an advocate for the 2nd Amendment, his voting record in the Illinois Senate paints a very different picture. While a state senator, Obama voted for a bill that would ban nearly every hunting rifle, shotgun and target rifle owned by Illinois citizens. That same bill would authorize the state police to raid homes of gun owners and forcibly confiscate banned guns. Obama supported a bill that would shut down law-abiding firearm manufacturers; including Springfield Armory, Armalite, Rock River Arms and Les Baer. Obama also voted for a bill that would prohibit law-abiding citizens from purchasing more than one gun per month. Without a doubt, Barack Obama has proven himself to be an enemy of the law abiding firearm owner. At the same time, Obama has proven himself to be a friend to the hardened criminal. While a state senator, Obama voted 4 times against legislation that would allow a homeowner to use a firearm in defense of home and family. Does Barack Obama still sound to you like a “friend” of the law-abiding gun owner? And speaking of friends, you can always tell a person by the company they keep. Obama counts among his friends the Rev. Michael Pfleger - a renegade Chicago priest who has openly called for the murder of gun shop owners and pro-gun legislators. Then, there is his buddy Richard Daley, the mayor of Chicago who has declared that “if it were up to him, nobody would be allowed to own a gun”. And let’s not forget Obama’s pal George Soros - the guy who has pumped millions of dollars into the UN’s international effort to disarm law-abiding citizens. Obama has shown that he is more than willing to use other people’s money to fund his campaign to take your guns away from you. While a board member of the leftist Joyce Foundation, Barack Obama wrote checks for tens of millions of dollars to extremist gun control organizations such as the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence and the Violence Policy Center. Does Barack Obama still sound to you like a “friend” of the law-abiding gun owner? By now, I’m sure that many of you have received mailings from an organization called “American Hunters and Shooters Association(AHSA)” talking about what a swell fellow Obama is and how he honors the 2nd Amendment and how you will never have to worry about Obama coming to take your guns. Let me make it perfectly clear - everything the AHSA says about Obama is pure hogwash. The AHSA is headed by a group of left-wing elitists who subscribe to the British view of hunting and shooting. That is, a state of affairs where hunting and shooting are reserved for the wealthy upper-crust who can afford guided hunts on exclusive private reserves. The AHSA is not your friend, never will be. In closing, I’d like to remind you that I’m a guy who has actually gone nose to nose with Obama on gun rights issues. The Obama I know cannot even begin to identify with this nation’s outdoor traditions. The Obama I know sees you, the law abiding gun owner, as nothing but a low-class lummox who is easily swayed by the flash of a smile and a ration of rosy rhetoric. The Obama I know is a stony-faced liar who has honed his skill at getting what he wants - so long as people are willing to give it to him. That’s the Barack Obama I know. Richard A. Rj, You by chance know how many socialistic European countries pretty much living as disarmed police state support Obama? Oh and any numbers on metrosexual males that are in love with him?
  8. Obama - Biden - Your Opinion ?

Yes 'already being on the books' is often time the best way to vote on many a thing regardless of party affiliation. Is my understanding the reason of why the abortion folk or prolifers vote one way or the other is cause their existing gains may be twarted. I heard in this case the supposed reasoning for the no vote relates to the legislation in question not including protections or life saving measures for the mother as well during the failed partial birth abortions...which is bs if yer main stance is that of an anti-lifer/abortion advocate. How I heard it the procedure entails something like turning the baby to the legs first position, partial birthing of it, and then killing it in the head before full birth. Whatever reasoning behind the way the vote went it's all bs.

  10. Burner Troubleshooting Video

Very good of you Larry. That is sure to help folks in being able to diagnose problems so they can move forward in parts replacement. My used unit had the red switch flipped from a frozen bearing on the squirrel blower when I bought it as well as a dead transformer. I'd place checking that switch and the actual ability for the cage to turn as some the first things to check as if ya got no blower turn then ya got no fuel being pumped. For what it worth here some my basic troubleshooting techniques if I experience heat problem while in the field: Although I can't hear blower due to main engine running it is easy enough to feel for the air where it comes out the stack if I climb up side of trailer. If I got none then chances are that red switch has flipped (did that a time or two) or more often than not the main vac/flow/pressure switch is at fault. I have my pressure switch wired for easy bypass with wire nuts. When I run out of fuel I usually go through a brief phaze of puffing out white smoke until it goes absolutely dry. If machine is in view I don't even have to check fuel level to know I am out. If machine was out of view when it went cold I physically check fuel level then what I do is I get some light behind my view of the stack exhaust coming out my trailer and pull trigger. Since it has been in use there usually enough heat still in the stack to show any air distortion from blower working or not. If not, I climb up and feel for it. Again, no blower then it the main switch or red switch.. I think I have my Beckett wired a tad different than the unit in the video in that everything is one loop. Solinoid and transformer both get no power until trigger is pulled as they all in series with pressure switch. Could be wrong but I think that the way I have it..the power has to complete circuit through the transformer arc in order for solinoid to work which keeps the dire situation of fuel going unburned and soaking the burner insulation. Unburned fuel can easily create a burner fire if electrics go out for ay length of time is my feeling. ..Just so others know, connected just inside to that metal gas line (shown as fuel test point) are the fuel nozzle and ignitor probes. I suggest pulling out once in awhile to clean and make sure the nozzle sprays rather then squirts or seaps out. Think there is a screen in the nozzle to catch particles that your main filter/water seperator missed. Mines never clogged there but nozzle has gotten carbon buildup early on right at the orifice. A pin worked fine for me. Touch of acid also works if yer taking it totally out. Just please make sure folks that all fuel testing is done with no power to transformer or at least no chance for accidental arc and do them with machinery outside away from other fuel or fire sources.
  11. Swabby Practice pictures

5k an hour be an easy pace for that thing John? I'd think ya could push on a 8k an hour schedule and do that job in 3 day. I have an idea on paper for something big but a tad different in that the pressure source stays on yer rig and it uses a secondary power source. Kinda leary about sharing it as someone is bound to patent it which of curse ends in the masses loosing out but here goes anyway...It's a push or pull plow format surfacer that attaches to front or back of Atv. Design is very simple and utilizes twin spinners mounted within a rectangular shaped boxed plow/castor system. Spinner shroud/plow box has preset heights and tounge swivels and goes up and down similar to pulling a wagon which allows for use on most any atv. Off top of tounge is 360 carwash boom to allow for hose manuevering. Recovery could be as simple as mounting tank and vac system on top of spinner shroud. Am unsure though if the standard powersource/charge systems on most atv's can hande a decent lamb type vac motor or how to go with such. I guestimate DIY prototype without recovery cost just around $1k to build. Question for ya John..has it become apparent that a boom system is best used in a zig zag going away or right angle pattern to where the second person feeds out or pulls in line as needed?
  12. Obama plans to raise taxes both personal and corp?

  13. Obama - Biden - Your Opinion ?

HU?..what ya mean it nothing to do with the candidates or the issues??:banghead: Try reading it...Maybe issues mentioned just not the type you would care to hear or focus on. Personally I would rather read or watch something coming from Molen than all that worthless rag/blog material ya been spamming all about.. :p :corn:
  14. Say NO to Gays!

Just go kill something like I did...it makes the pain go away.
  15. Virtual Election '08

That's ok..Obama's peeps don't care anything of the issues let alone where their candidate stands on them. They just like him cause it's been pushed down their throat that he is change. Just like all them undecided woman voters in Ohio on last debate....Obama opens his mouth and up goes the excitement meter. It's akin to a blindness. This pretty much sums it all up: [yt]NyvqhdllXgU[/yt]
  16. Obama plans to raise taxes both personal and corp?

What no opinions from the minions?.. Well let's switch stride here abit then....since other forum I brung the issue is going full swing into other much more logical elaborations and points it seems the topic of taxation has become more defined. Here..I'll direct us towards that new line of thought so apparent elsewhere: Original gist of topic is about whether the end effect of his plan is that of double taxation but I see that it has expanded and it seems natural that the gist of this thread now is more about how taxing the higher midclass to highclass would result in inflation and job loss upon the poorer folk. Joe's taxes will be past down as fallout which could be quikly interprited as a raise to taxes.... but I would still like to know if it equates to an overall increase in tax revenue coming in as that is what a 'raising taxes' should do. Although my view is that it is wrongful socialistic wealth spreading I would like to hear if the trade off is even or is there to be an overall increase of revenue. I mean is that extra few percent the higher classes will pay even trade for what the poorer folk aren't paying directly out their wallet now or under Obama's plan?. Whether or not it is an overall increase, decrease, or even trade it is an increase of dollars out the poorer folks wallet as they will be made to pay for what Joe is loosing whether they like it or not. I will go on believing that 'raising higher earners taxes' equates to a hit on the poorer folk. If not mistaken they pay hardly nil now in actual tax but they are gonna be paying far more directly than the supposed tax savings under Obama via increase costs of goods. God damn that sounds pretty good way to collect the taxes the little folk should be paying eh?. I sound socialistic ,,haha. Pretty smart dem that thar Obama. Trick them by promissing a lowering of their taxes so they actually pay without getting an irs bill.... Ok here we go, instead of havng any personal taxes we move to an invisable consumption tax by way of heavy tax applied direct to any and all business's gross whether small sole proprietor or corp and we just all at once as business owners pass it down then up to the man. ps- But ya know what. I find a real problem with burdening Joe and those above him with tax collection duty that our goobermint is charged with..Idiotic I tell ya, Idiotic!!!!!
  17. Say NO to Gays!

Isn't there a pita prop on there deserving of a no?. can I get a no please?.. think it is something about a prevention of animal abuse yadda yadda. Surely there enough protections on books already and a chicken in a box is exactly where I want mine. A big red KFC box!!, and I want it decent price too..thank you very much!! :)
  18. Blackened decks

Shouldn't be so perplexing Dan. The more prone a surface is at being exposed to polutants or airborne dust, dirt, spore, etc. along with moisture the more likely it is that stuff is gonna use it as a base to grow on. Don't forget that some situation or examples sited were not about mold but rather about extractive/ph issues...you know the whole redwood only thing..
  19. Is 3000psi 2.7 gpm enough?

Hi Mud.... You sure yer done? Doesn't seem anyone wants to argue you. Perhaps a step back and consideration of the fact that everyone including Chris did indeed followup what you perhaps would call bold statements which may actually just be THEIR experience with enough language to not misguide this Jake fella.-- See you do it yerself as well-i.e- This Jake fellas first and only post has plenty of language that implies, if not straight up consedes that he already understands it is abit small machine for serious work. What ya think?
  20. Say NO to Gays!

Hey Ant ya hear that latest yes on 8 radio ad where they clip Newsom saying 'this door is wide open whether ya like it or not' ?.. Sounds just like Pachino in Devils Advocate.. haha, butt hey Beavis he said 'door'.. :zipit::lgbonk:

I guess Sara Silverman quote applies here .."When God gives you AIDS - and God does give you AIDS, by the way - make lemonAIDS."
  22. Virtual Election '08

In the spirit of Pedro..'vote for Obama and all yer dreams will come true'..lmaof McCain tore him a new one this final debate... Go McCAIN!!
  23. Obama plans to raise taxes both personal and corp?

Another forum I frequent full of investment types was kind enough to provide the following writeup that pretty much clarifies why Obam's tax plan is no good as it pertains to double taxation. There should be enough info to help even Jeff out to understand the double taxation point. :)..j/k Jeff. Actually in bringing the issue up elsewhere about increased taxation by Obama it seemed it such an old/overworked issue that many just too dang tired to keep explaining thw wrong in it.
  24. Free Document Cd

Sounds good...my request is in yer box. Really want to see that measuring tool. :)
  25. Is 3000psi 2.7 gpm enough?

You'll hate life trying to do flat work more than say 500 ft. or so with that small a gpm. Now if you were a woodie and set up correctly it could do some work for ya. Kec guys or engine bay work though probably want some heat along with that low a flow. I pretty much consider that size machine about useless myself. 5gpm for commercial flat work is abit slow if not for surface cleaner equipment to help speed things up. If all yer gonna do is resi drives and house wash though a 5 gpm is fine. You can get by with a 4gpm.
