What model pump is this?
MMI Enterprises replied to NewYorkBoraPL's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I've same number machine and General pump basically but with different head material.. 3k@4.8gpm I believe. Mine has sticker saying Mitm model 3000. Very common pump housing/head. Lots of models use same kits. I might of bought up Johns last packing/check valve kit on hand though.. :) -
Menu buttons and logo layout seems to waste some top space. I'de like to see things uncentered and busier. Margin space both left and right on main home page could use something. Maybe some side menus with testimonies or talking about yourself or links to videos.....you hood guys are big on videos right?

WTW tips
MMI Enterprises replied to bigchaz's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Speaking of truck fires..might not want to spill very much on this two layered drop cloth. Not only does it shrivel up and become unusable when bunched up but it will smoke, maybe catch flame and combust, if air is introduced going down the road....fire cans especially useful in this heat we got out here . -
pressure problem
MMI Enterprises replied to superclean's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Well proper adjustment of the new unloader could be worth a recheck. Other problem that may or may not be obvious is that of running on only one cylinder on your Kohler...rpm or engine speed may seem proper but half horsepower is gone...happened on a Briggs of mine. Unplug spark plugs one at a time to make sure that is not problem. -

Sealing Concrete after using oxalic for rust.
MMI Enterprises replied to NewYorkBoraPL's question in Residential Pressure Washing
You may be getting yourself in and over your head and your customer overbudget if you go towards solid staining or top coating. Most clear top coats will darken the crete abit and perhaps that is not what you or they are after. Perhaps they just wanted a cleaning, rust removed, and some protection to make it easier to clean and for it to not stain so easy...Get ahold of the Vseal guys and ask if their impregnator type seals will darken the crete and explain the benefits of not top filming it...You need penetration.. :) -
Price?
MMI Enterprises replied to ACSTravis's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Good golly guys..yer raking it in..right on!!... think we don't get them rates due to saturation of cheap labor in all three trades of cleaning, painting, and construction fields which lead to disposable attitude of both worker and product. -
Sanding
MMI Enterprises replied to ACSTravis's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Yea everyone has different sizes don't they... 5" stuff seems most popular round here at the stores for the orbitals. I have to dig hard to find both hook and loop and stick back type for my 6" orbitals. Your best bet Charlie might be Norton or Pearl Abrasives on them 9" ones. I buy floor burnisher pads direct from Norton and I know they make huge variety of sanding stuff also. (scored about 10 of the 50 count boxes in various grit recently in a lot buy) -
pressure problem
MMI Enterprises replied to superclean's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Although some types of unloader bypass more than others it is considered fine to bypass water. Sounds like your issue relates to debri in your check valves on your pump. They are under them 6 big hex nuts..metal shavings, etc, is probably in one or more of them.. -

Kinda begs me to ask the version and date of manufacture of the western cedar fivers you sent me... They look just like Beth n Rod's pics above in both container and seperation. Are we to assume they are the corrected batch? Can't say for sure the deck I used it on is still wet/sticky but all my cardboard and tarps are after 4 days of CA heat. -
How we go from such a luvly topic as music to the slime of politics?..lol..Oh thats right . the whole Live Earth/ al gore thingy..haaaaaa. I really do like the guys person but there aint no way he is a uniter of these American people..not the majority anyways.. An inconvienant truth was entertaining but it leaves out known facts of ice ages gone before us and higher water levels of the near past to name but a couple flaws. Is twisted when you break it down really and jumps to too many conclusions about co2. Worst part of it is the blaiming of your own race for things out of their control. I doubt it far fetched to think the majority of folks already know instinctively there is plenty left out of the equations...I'll just leave out the science of it like many do and say we just aint all that when it comes to our influential role upon this Earth, neither is Gore. ...where's my fluffy?.. :)

Funny Deck estimation
MMI Enterprises replied to plainpainter's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
You refering to that railing thread? links please.. :) When I compare my actual end estimate amounts to just my raw decking measurement/price I see on average about 40% more surface/money to figure in way of rails, stairs, lattice, etc.. -

Painting bix/jasco gel on will be a pita when you get into intricate surfaces. I've used the epoxy remover version along with laqcuer thinner at times to remove catalyzed stuff on flat surfaces... The method where you cover your boosted stripper with plastic will be your best bet on rails. Maybe Rod has some cling ideas for ya for your mix also.. -
