Steve, I do downstream. No leaks down the line just out the end of the nozzle. I've inspected the ball/spring in one gun & it looks ok. Gonna go dissect the other one right now. Paul, if the HF has eaten the coating can the bearing be replaced with ceramic or can I buy a bunch of the small assemblies and replace them as necessary?

I would love to come back up sometime but I've got to pay for that equipment I bought (kidding). I'm really anxious about the educational seminar. I'm ordering a new 16' trailer this week to put the 2 hot water machines on. I wish the seminar was before I set the trailer up so I'd have that repair knoweledge before firing those things up. P.S. Does anyone know offhand what the footprint would be for a 500gal horizontal or square tank. I'm trying to prefigure how to set up my trailer & dimensions would help.

Leaks out the end of the nozzle. The rest of the line is fine. Checked the o-rings the other weak cause of a similiar problem & fixed it (leaky rings making by unloader cycle very often when in bypass). The trigger may be sticking but if so that would be fixed in the overhaul as well as the bearing. Any 2steppers out there to chime in. I know a lot of people downstream the HF.

Educational Seminar

If anyone is flying or travelling through Jacksonville FL to get to this, let me know. Someone can ride w/ me if they want or just meet. I live fairly near the event. -
Educational Seminar

Paul, You read my mind. As a newbie, was just about to start a thread asking about this very subject. Didn't want to wait for things to break & then figue it out, wanted to know beforehand. I thought about taking some small engine repair courses or something similiar but this will do great. You can count on seeing me there! -
Recently my cold water machine is conching out when idling low. No biggie but I have to keep restarting. Any ideas as to what gives. Has oil & stuff. Could it be the sensor/relay that keeps it from overheating? Never had a problem for its first six months. Thanks for any advice.

Ahhh! I can't spell but I can clean. Good to see some Floridians on here. Looking to speak w/ anyone who is into fleets down south.

There's a guy that comes to the truck yard where I work and refinishes the headlights. Turns them from yellow back to white. Don't know the product but there is a market for refinishing plastic. If it's cheap plastic it probably won't work but headlight plastic seems to be a heavier grade. If it's cheap replace otherwise might be worth checking out.

That's all it was! A couple gaskets later & a-OK. When I idled the machine low & driving around the truck yard the leaky gaskets would drop the pressure and when the pw tried to cycle up it stalled. Love simple repairs. This brought me to another problem. When checking the gaskets in the quick connects I had a hard time with a couple of them. It seems the bearings on the female side caused wear on the male side (flanged the metal) and could not get one quick connect apart. Had to replace. Any tips on separating a beat up quick-connect?

I do have a couple of leaks after the unloader. Was kinda just letting them go for a bit. Didn't think about the pressure bleeding off at a low rpm. Will replace a couple of gaskets and see what happens. I'll post the results, thanks.

choke not on, engine has been running. I'm not trying to use it when i've turned the machine down, i'm just moving from one spot to another in the truck yard without turning it off. maybe have it idling low for 3-4 minutes, when I pull up to the next rig the machine is off.
