I use McAfee with the auto update subscription service and never have to worry about being up to date with all the trash that seems to get directed at us the innocent web users. Every time a new threat on the web is detected my computer automatically gets updated. I think it is 50 or 60 dollars for the year. Cheap Insurance.

First are your hoses going directly to the pump and not a float tank? If so Try changing the 3/4 hose to 1" or bigger schedule 80 PVC since you have a 2" opening in the tank anyway. Use maximum diameter as close to the pump as possible to increase available volume. If you must use a hose, do not use a garden hose because it is designed for pressure not suction and will collapse very easily. Clear braided hose is okay but make sure the ID (inside diameter) is at least 3/4". or since you dont use it much anyway, can you set up a 12volt booster pump so you have more pressure on your supply side? Some folks will argue that direct drive pumps dont have the pull of a belt driven set up. I dont know for fact as I have only ever had belt drives.

Is your tank above or equal in height compared to the pump? Sounds like there is not enough head pressure from your tank. Try a small 12 volt pump or raise the tank higher than the pump inlet.

Lp runs fine the problem that we experienced was refills even if close was a pain. 25 gallon tanks are not easy to move so using a spare is not reasonable, topping off your tank before every job is a nuisance vs. carrying a 5 gallon diesel gerry can for back up. Choose wisely grasshopper!

In California, your time or your employee time for court is not allowable but if on your signed invoice or proposal you mention a finance charge for over due accounts you can add that in your claim: ie. $440.00 + 1.5%/month ($41.12 for Aug - Jan)+ collection attempt costs. Go to your local court house, they will give you everything you need, just make sure your business license is good before you start anything! You can also fill out all the paperwork and send a photocopy to the deadbeat and tell them your filing in 3 days and it will cost them more if they wait.

Wouldn't it be good for all of his competitors to take turns and follow him around for a month or two and take pictures and document everything he does...everyone slips up and gets careless at some point, whether intentional or not

One advantage of being incorporated includes isolating your personal belongings (ie. house, car, savings account etc) from your business. Legally a "corporation" is treated by the state and feds as if it were a person. You therefore then are an employee of that "person" and your personal property is not touchable in the event of being on the wrong end of a lawsuit.

Lets all check back and see if it really happens. I've been waiting to switch carriers for about three months now.
