Ever since I purchase my new trailer and put my pressure washer on it, I have noticed that it is VERY difficult to pull start. It feels like it is locking up and when I do get it to pull, I am getting gas dripping out of the exhaust. I am thinking that I am getting gas in the carb. due to the exesive bouncing around. Am I right? would a simple fix be to put a ball valve in the gas line and turn it off before traveling or is it something else?

Deck and Fence Pricing
Pure Pressure posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
In an effort to maximize my earning potintial this year, I was wondering what everyone else charges (per sqft) to Clean and Seal Decks/Fences. I dont want to under charge, and I dont want to bid my self out of work either. Do you have one set price for cleaing and another for sealing? Is your pricing for both always? I understand each deck is different, but I am looking for an average, normal deck 3-4 years since last cleaning, in good shape (only needing some nails drivin back down). If you dont want to post here, please E-mail me or send me a message. Thanks -
According to what you wrote above, It sounds to me like you did get several jobs, BECAUSE of your website.

I have had my Website up for less then a month, and have already had two jobs from it. Just remember, to put your site ALL of your advertising! Also, even if you are not ready to buid it now, purchase the domain name you want. It is only 10 bucks a year.

Starting out

Thanks for the great reply. I will take your advise. -
Hello all, I am starting to get a lot of requests to clean and stain decks. I have taken advantage of these BBS and have leared a tremendous amount. To get started, I am going to use a shurflo pump to spray on both the Sodium Hydroxide and the stain. This is a three part question. 1) What is the best clean up/rinse to keep my pump clean? 2) What is a good % for the Sodium Hydroxide per 5 gallon bucket for removing stain? 3) What is a good % for Oxcilic/Citris Acid per 5 gallon bucket for nutrilizing?

LOL, that's what we here in Kentucky call a FRUIT SALAD!

I have not had the chance to use Citri-clean (I plan on it because of the great things I have heard about it). However, Simple Cherry is great, suds well, smells GREAT, easy to mix ( I put it in a old milk carton with hot water and add it when I get to the job. Plus, Dealling with Bob at Pressure Tek is alway a pleasure. His customer service is OUTSTANDING!

I was researching the internet and was advised that using bleach could damage the plastics. Is this true or just someone trying to sell a product? I am thinking that using my standard house wash of simple cherry, SH and water. Thoughts?????????????????????

I just turned 34 in August. I worked as Police Officer for 5 years, and left to do various managment jobs. I have been layed off 4 times in the past 2 years (company cutbacks). I started my company this year and absolutely love it. I am still busy, (I have done 6 houses in the past 2 days and have a roof and a building tomorrow). I could not imaging going back to working for someone else!

I have a bid to do an aluminum/Metal siding business this week. The building is only about 4 years old and around 3000 square feet. It has a metal roof and in mostly just covered in mildew and surface dirt. I am planing on using my house wash mix of 3 gallon of SH, 2 Gallon of water and a cup of detergent. It works great on vinyl, but this is my first metal building. Am I safe with this mix or sould I use something else?
