I am having trouble getting individual health insurance. It seems that if you have any pre-existing conditions, they automatically decline you. Anyone have luck with any group insurances? I went to the PWNA site but I could not see how to get any health insurance information. Thanks.

Chevy Astro Help
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Thanks. I am on a site called Signparade.com. The problem is... the design utility for the side of the van is too large and expensive. I would have to buy a decal the length of the van and it was about $300.00. Instead, I chose the option to design a trailer decal and it was only $175.00 but I have to specify the size. I think the area I am talking about is the same height as the door windows. I just can't tell the actual size from pictures. Any help would be appreciated. -
Hi all. I am having a decal made for my Astro cargo van. I need a measurement and the van is out of town. Could you tell me if a 18''X18'' decal will fit on the upper back sides of the van without a problem with the seam? Also, will the same decal fit on one of the back doors. Thanks a million for the help. Mark.

Clean Windows Included In Price?
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Wow Ken. Those pictures look impressive. My own house didn't look that good when I finished!! Thanks Rando for the info. I am still waiting for my first shipment of Simple Cherry. I will try it on the windows. Thanks all for the good advice. Mark. -
Do you residential washers include the cleaning of the windows? Or, do you leave the screens on? I was wondering about how a clean house with dirty windows looks to a customer. Thanks.

Pool Area, Drive and Sidewalk
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I think you are correct Celeste. I think it is a thin layer over a decking. The pool guy warned me that this can be fragile. Maybe he meant no really high pressure. Goodness knows I don't want to be replacing a pool deck!! -
Pool Area, Drive and Sidewalk
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Thanks for the reply. What about the aggregate, or whatever it is called, around the pool. The 'cool' decking. I am thinking of just cleaning and hose rinsing that also. I was told that some coverings are just thin layers over foam, of some type. Have you ever heard of that? -
I am going to be doing a surface cleaning of a pool area, drive and sidewalk. A pool guy told me to be careful with the covering next to the pool because high pressure may break it. He recommended just using spray chemicals and a water hose. No pressure. I was going to use my 16'' Whirl-a-way, but may not now. Any suggestions on chemicals and pressure? Thanks. I'm also not sure on the pricing yet, but I think around 200-250?

6%, Simple Cherry and TSP vs 12%
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Thanks for the info. I forgot to mention that I would be using an X-Jet. I think I understand better now. The downstreaming dilutes it more so the 12% would be better. I will check the Simple Cherry to see if it has TSP in it. -
As a newbie, can I use 6% SHC and TSP and Simple Cherry mix to get started on house washing? Or, and I wasting my time by not using 12.5%? I have read a lot of posts and am a little unsure. Mold and mildew is a problem here in Louisiana. Thanks.

Hose In Chemical Bottle
MarksMobileWash replied to MarksMobileWash's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Thanks John. The weight is a great idea. Originally, I used a metal rod tied to the tube. The nut weight is a much simpler idea. Mark. -
Hi. I am new to the forum. I was wondering if there is a good way to keep the injection tube/filter in the chemical bottle? It seems to try to float and not get the liquid on the bottom. Any reply would be appreciated. Mark
