The tire marks are on brushed concrete sidewalk in front of a Safeway store and are being caused buy kids skidding on the concrete. Sorry for any confusion.

I tried HD-80 on an old deck probably 10-12 years old and it had never treated. EFC-38 has worked in the past but I thought I would try something different I used HD-80 and 1/2oz. to 1gal. First we wet down the entire deck surface before applying the HD-80 having my worker apply the HD-80 and Me spraying it off just as fast as he was applying it. Caution to any one who would like to try this make sure you do not let the HD-80 sit on the deck to long apply and Pressure Wash off at <1000 PSI to prevent furring.

Will HD-80 Strip..?
Robert Ray replied to a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I would try HD-80 to get off as much as I could then sand the deck using a 18"x12" square buff sander from 32 grit and 60 grit this works well and have done it many times this year. good luck! -

Sealer coverage???
Robert Ray replied to Beth n Rod's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Super deck is getting about 150-200 sq ft to the gallon. On the last old deck I did it was only getting about 125 sq ft to the gallon. I had a guy call me today and ask if I could remove super deck sealer from his half Concrete and half Pavement driveway. The poor guy had the stuff fall off his deck down the side of his house and it rolled all the way down his driveway. Does any one know of a way to remove the sealer, also the pavement has some kind of sealer on it. He said it was light sand mixed with a tar sealer. Allso how would you charge for this? -

I have one in the works this year already: I gave a guy a bid to refinish his deck at first he said ok. Then he asked if I would just do the pressure wash and any sanding that would be necessary. I then asked him what product he was planning on using and he of course said Behr I strongly suggested he not use the behr product and we decided that work was to begin next Friday... a few minutes later he calls to tell me the he and his brother are going both his and his brothers deck themselves... I bet I will be posting that they both called for a strip and sand bid in a few short weeks.
