You would stick in the top and feel the vacuum at the bottom or Not. If it was clogged you would here the vacuum engine get louder.

Try Safe Restore if it does not work with the 12% strait. If it is at the top it may be something else that is causing the streaks and it may not be just dirt?

I would like to know if you guys give your employees extra money if they do more work at a job or what you do about sell ups? I have a problem with my guys not getting the extra's. I give them a % on any extra money they get at a job and since I do most of my Estimates over the phone(For houses and I do not want to here go out and look at them all, we do to many and it works for me) we can always do extra stuff, sidewalks, patio's, roofs, decks, neighbors. So it is that time of the year when I go out on the truck and work (say we do 4-5 jobs a day) and when I'm out doing it we get 200.to 400 extra a day with no problem they can not get 200-400 in a week. I know I care more and all that, I just wonder if anyone has got any good ideas on how to get them to do more.

Yes I'm the same way with getting the money and Iused to give up to 20% but when you have 2 guys at 40% and then you are paying them both more (hourly pay) on top of chemicals they may need to use for the sellup and gas it was kind of a wash for me, so now I pay 15% or 10% for just a helper. But I think they just want to be done for the day and not worry about extras.

Some times they come out great, We used Safe restore anf it worked great on this one.

We just moped it on and let it sit for a couple of minutes, as we got higher we had to scrub it on 2 -3 times. We really did not use any pressure. I use the safe restore a lot under the windows on stucco and they come out great as well. It is a little expensive so that is why most of the times we mop it on. It looks like I will use some safe restore on this Mansion job that I think we are going to get it is 57,000 sq. ft. with a long wall around the property.

That is a good one we do it every year or two.

I would say that there is a big difference in Dryvit and stucco. Dryvit is a lot easier to clean and stucco will take some pressure if needed.

Then I tell them we can come out meet with you and go over everything and do the job that day. I agree both ways are good and if you can go out and meet with them then do it but if you look at it from the other side it is nice to book them over the phone and I tell them that we can both save with me only making 1 trip. They also will not even call another guy a lot of times if i book them. Then when you meet them and you want them home when doing the job, you can try for extra work. I'm not saying that my way is better but it works also.

I think it is all good advise and for anyone new you should go look at every job. But the other way works well if you are busy and need to screen or book the job that day. I have been doing it a long time and think that most decks you should go and look at because they do have a lot of different ways to clean and seal. We do a lot of houses and I would say about 80-85 percent I would book over the phone. Ask what kind of house is it a rancher, 2 story col. split 3 story back and what kind of siding. Larger stucco I will go out and look at and most roofs but a 2 story colonial around 2500 sq feet or 3200 sq ft. it should be a general price.
