How Can THIS Be Good For Business ??
BigPete replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
I do not know about your house, But when we built ours, it came with, among other things, a manual (printed in 1998) explaining the construction features and basic maintenance of our new home. Inside was a pretty good explanation of how to clean and maintain both tile and shingle roof systems. both recommended using sodium hypochlorite and water and low pressure rinse. I know they didn't just print this for me. Everybody that builds a new house or gets a new roof probably gets something like this, they might not read it, but they probably get it somewhere in the literature they receive. When I buy pool chlorine, there are detailed instructions for shingle roof cleaning printed right on the label. They are written there for the average homeowner. This is the same liquid any consumer can buy even in the grocery store at 10% concentration. I hope you don't think any of this information came from your posts leaking out to the internet revealing your secrets. There are plenty of trade secrets, but few, if any, have to do with how we clean or what we use to clean with. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! GOOD NIGHT NOW! -
They provide labels for you to take and put on your drums or tank or whatever you put it in. They are usually on a big roll by the tank or in the back of the store. At least all the places selling bulk Sodium Hypochlorite around here have them. You should already have your tanks clearly labeled anyway.

oops.:whoops: ...Factories in Taiwan used to assemble the world's computers; now China does. Hong Kong garment workers used to stitch tons of fabric into finished clothing; now Chinese workers do. And Japanese plants once manufactured the world's most popular consumer electronics brands, like Hitachi, Sony, Panasonic and Toshiba; now many of them are shipped from Chinese ports... ...Japanese and South Korean companies are also coming to China in force. Panasonic of Japan now has 70,000 employees working in China; Toshiba's largest information technology production site in the world is in the Chinese coastal city of Hangzhou. And Samsung, the South Korean company, has 23 factories, 50,000 employees and all of its notebook PC production in China. Its last computer notebook factory in South Korea closed last year... ;)

Switching Pumps, Need to change pulleys
BigPete replied to Jim Carroll's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
to change pump speed, you will need to change pulleys - one or both -
general pump surface cleaner
BigPete replied to sflasealcoating's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
and you went and bought 3 new surface cleaners that you didn't need.;) sorry to hear about your loss, hope everything works out. Try 4.5 in it with that pump. Even then you will be tearing up most of our fine Florida concrete. It's cool though, some people like to see the pretty rocks and shells. :lgsideway -
General Pump ZK1 Unloader
BigPete replied to Power Clean's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
You may need to downsize to get it to work properly - I have 1/4 inch hose on my bypass. 3/8" would cause the unloader to cycle in and out. Have had no problems since going to 1/4". -
