Ive looked at a lot.. heard a lot.. and Im still askin around to those that have had experience with roofs, what works best for you and why? Mostly interested in composition roof work.

Lee, Im aware tht only low pressure should be used.. I was looking for advise on chemicals.. some say chlorine, some say other things.. since you jumped on this, Im guessing that you have some degree of expertise in this? What works best for you? Im new to this biz, but fortunatly not technicaly in th dark. Id be very careful about catching my runoff, and protecting the plants as well as any passersby. There are just so many choices out there I want to try to draw from the experience of other roof cleaners as to what is fastest, cost effective, safest, etc. but as always, Im looking for one word from my customer... WOW!

Scott, Ive heard of that happening, but its never happened to me. I saw on another board, that there are a few things that you want to do with that kind of siding.. FIRST.. DONT use an X jet. I think its because the water is more prone to get into the weep holes and run out. if the yellow is running from the weep holes, you might have to use a brush.. this all sounds like a nightmare.. lol something that would happen to me! What kind of chems are you using? I'll research and try to find that post and post it here for you.
