Eric, that is terrible! I'm glad you are able to tell us your son will be OK. I guess that's one thing that did not happen to our boys... r

Doug, I'm seeing a lot of that out here in CA. A nice clean product is best for a salesperson to present. r

Sealing Concrete after using oxalic for rust.
Tmrrptr replied to NewYorkBoraPL's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Kevin, I'm using behr... no clue how it will perform over time... Actually started out to use what was claimed as superior product but was not in stock, so I went to the big box and got what was, for a rush job. So far, all I can report is that it applies easily. abt 200sqft per gallon. Would be a nice looking fix for the stains shown here. If a downside becomes apparent, I'll post it. r -
Anyone used wet sand blaster kit with pressure washer?

Good video! Makes me want to buy a glider... Got stuck on utube again... Did anyone else watch 5 Grand Car Wash ? Must be fleet washing at it's finest. r -
How do I shrink a picture to proper size for posting ? I also have a situation with some interesting growth on asbestos shingles. r

Charlie, how do you feel your rates compare in your area? and is it your intention to be either high, or low? Here, with an excess of immigrant labor, it would be difficult to get that price, including the product ! r

We are doing semi transparent acrylic stain for 2 bucks a ft including clean and etch. Probably a bit less for 2600 sq ft. It will resolve the current problem. r -
Excellent ! We all want them to see Myrtle Beach at it's cleanest !!!! r

If I was called to a home that appeared clean to me, I would undoubtedly comment so, to the owner, and ask them at the same time what it was that concerned them. I would wash the house, and give particular attention to their expressed concern, if any. Even if done the week before by someone else, it could benefit fom a wash and rinse w wax used in rinse. I was taught "Do not treat people the way YOU wish to be treated, treat them the way THEY want to be treated." Everyone has differing standards. Perhaps there is something unseen they are concerned with. I can not see or feel bacteria and germs and may not notice odors. A fresh soap & bleach smell IS clean, to many. Some folks just want to KNOW things are done right and in good order. If they are willing to pay for service, they should have what the ask for. r

Hello Carlos, Perhaps "not hard", but I'd say pretty difficult. Man, there's a LOT of cuts in that wood ! I suspect we cannot see the true quality of craftsmanship in the work. Do you SEE any fasteners ? I have various wood items, in the past... can't sell 'em for a profit. And I've tried production techniques and also free wood ! Do you work with wood, Carlos? r -
Ken obviously has a well thought out system ! My 2c comes from a biz network group that included a printer and bulk mailer. Go to bulk mailer guy 1st. He will advise what size is effective and give ideas on areas. Bulk mailer usually has favorite printer and will send you to him. At printer you can see what his requirements are for cost effective. Then you can implement the KEN system! r

Looks great! Did you use muriatic acid or phosphoric acid ? r

Water Supply Tank choice?
Tmrrptr replied to plainpainter's question in Residential Pressure Washing
A new plastic round 235 is $300 here... I use my 5.6g direct from house line, but want to rig a surge tank. Will start with a 55g drum... Thanks for advice on the square tanks! Plenty of grape juice around here... will look for a used one. r -

All construction work can be perilous. Here we see the value of a two man crew. Paul sells icewalkers for up on the roof but that would wipe out a deck! I don't even know if I would wear spikes on a roof! r -
Is increasing Price after quote right?
Tmrrptr replied to mobilemike's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Purpose of a contract is to allow everyone to know what shall happen for a specific price. If you do not perform accordingly, there are consequences. No pay. You may attempt to re-negotiate, and offer explanation of your inexperience to the client. They may be good natured and honest and see you have underestimated their project. If they can see you have done quality work in other areas, they may agree to an increase in costs. Never-the-less, you are bound by your contract. All you can do is the best you can do. r -
There's a lot of good information if you sort through the old posts.. Wait 'til you find the awesome log cabin in Montana! I put in a reply just in case someone answers back. Great looking place. It would be really good to work up there. ....well, to have steady work up there! r

Possibly World's Most Tragic Deck Job.... The Zero-Degree Debacle... Pics YIKES!
Tmrrptr replied to fireandrain's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Your pictures are pretty much the typical deck I see, down here. We don't get any foggy days like you do up in Berkely. Can't wait to see your after pictures. r -
Great clip! I won't do that with my Ford... Can we do it with yours? r
