I used 50 grit sandpaper. NO washing. I took the top layer off as I had some new Behr crap stain I had to get rid of.

I just sanded my ceder deck, do I have to wash it prior to sealing it or can I just go ahead and seal it right after the sanding??

I built the deck we used ceder screws no nails, whats toenailing?? Can I not just remove the screws with a drill and reinsert them??

Ok what if I reversed all the boards, just flipped them over, any see any issues with doing that? this crap is not comming off

Well I got the Behr at Home Depot. Some of the paint stores around carry Flood, not sure if there any good. Any idea if Home Depot caries any good products??

thanks, mine looks even worse, the final product looks great, was that just from the stripper or did you have to sand as well? Can you recommed any good sealers I should be using??

Ok I have a real mess, I have a year old ceder deck, I cleaned it with some power washer cleaner, power washed it off and then applied Behr primium ceder tone stain. It was a hot sunny day. Needless to say the entire deck is patchy with dark blotches all over it. Just for good measure I have drip marks all over as well. Whats the best way to fix this and whats the best product to use thats avaible in Canada?? Thanks
