New skid from All Seasons!
Don Phelps replied to WEW's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
My pleasure, Wayne! Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with a great machine. I didn't quite expect business to start off as brisk as it has, but it sure is fun trying to keep up with it. There will be an announcement coming soon regarding several different things that I've been working on. Stay tuned! -

Thanks for the business, Mike! You should be receiving them very soon. If not, let me know A.S.A.P.! -

I can get you a #1 or #0 as quick as you want it. It can be shipped or you can pick it up here if you need it sooner. -
What should I look for in a used machine I am going to buy?

Water Cannon doesn't have an actual brick and mortar store front in Orlando. They are strictly "mail order only." A FL resident has to pay tax and shipping. We are now distributing the Pressure Pro line (Same equipment Water Cannon sells). From pressure washers to surface cleaners, reels, fittings, etc, we can provide you with the same great equipment at very competitive prices. I had hoped to keep this under wraps until after the first of the year to coincide with some other announcements, but several of you FL guys have expressed interest in new hot water skids. If you're willing to pick it up in Orlando, I can save you the shipping costs. If not, it can be drop-shipped to you. Anyone interested in saving some money and purchasing some new equipment, give me a call and I can get you quoted. -

You can do a DBA (doing business as) through your current company or change the name to something like "First Quality Home Services" or "First Quality Property Services." Anywho.....you get the idea. Make sure that you have the appropriate licenses, insurance, etc. to do this type of business in your area. Good Luck!

Once you close the ball valve, you aren't sucking any air and/or residual chems in the xjet line. Therefore, you get more straight pressure from your pw and no interference from the above mentioned open hose. It's simple really, nothing happening at the end of the nozzle other than straight flow and pressure from your pw.

I read a lot of the info online from "The Messenger" and it kinda freaked me out. A friend of mine from H.S. was quoted and he said he watched a tornado coming and it destroyed some of his neighbors homes and ripped the porch off of his house. I wish I had more time to spend there.

We'll be there for Thanksgiving. It'll be interesting to see what's still standing and isn't.

It can't be any worse than the tornadoes in Madisonville......Click it and let us know! :lgbugeyes

Box Truck versus Trailer

$1800/year should be a drop in the bucket for your neck of the woods. By the way, congrats on the "Cleaner Times" cover. How much pressure did you use on that roof? -
Told ya you couldn't catch up! Happy Birthday Scott! :bday:

Thanks for all of the replies and pm's guys! I'm slowly becoming more aware of what's what on these T.V.'s....lol! My wife thinks we're buying "one" T.V. for each other, which will probably be a 60" for our living room downstairs, but I'm buying a second one (probably a 52") for the den upstairs also. She'll either be very happy, or I'll be homeless! :lgbugeyes

That's a call you're going to have to make.....If you're mechanically inclined, go for it! It's usually cheaper to go that route. Some important things to keep in mind are weight distribution, space for future equipment additions, and storage. If I can help, let me know. :)

There are 199 pwers listed in the Sprint yellow pages alone in the Orlando area and I'm not in either book and do just fine. Networking is the key for me. I don't really consider anyone competition. I don't mean that in an arrogant way, I just think there's enough dirt to go around.

I know it seems like a rather elementary question, but is the injector adjusted open? Most like that have the black circular piece that is used to adjust it open or closed.
-
Are you using a soap tip or an open end on the lance when trying to draw chem? Occasionally I'll have a problem getting mine to start drawing with the tip on, so I remove it and it starts to siphon and I put it back on then.

I was cleaning the inside of a pool cage (screen enclosure) and had the lance pointed up when I pulled the trigger. Of course with a pressure actuated unloader on the machine at the time, I got a nice kick when I pulled the trigger and popped the other end of the lance right through the screen. My eyes shot out of my head then I just busted out laughing. The homeowner wasn't there and they were planning to have it rescreened in the near future anyway since there were already several small tears from branches, etc. So I suppose I was lucky in that regard. :lgbugeyes

Yep, I've seen that same machine smoke before.
