Is it cool to cool, or should I stay hot?

I don't think most take you as picky......just arrogant. I have no opinion otherwise.. Just an observation. :lgbounces -

We always turn the motor down and let it cool the coils before shutting it off. -
You've got to hear this.

It works great at fending off unwelcome visitors during night jobs too! :lgbounces -
The one I notice most is 'alot' as opposed to 'a lot.' 'Alot' isn't a word. I never see anyone use 'alittle' as a word.

Actually, over time there are parts that can/will wear out, but they also sell a repair kit for it too. http://www.kencove.com/ShopDetail.php?recordID=VHVR

I believe that you'll get several varying opinions on this, but we clean from the roof down, ending with the driveway. The deck would be a second trip to seal.

If you're actually running your pump dry, YES, you need one. If not, you'll soon need a new pump too. You can buy 35 gallon tanks at Tractor Supply or most other farm supply stores.

I have this one and couldn't be happier with it. As a personal preference I had a K-7 unloader installed. I went with the all stainless package too. http://www.pwmall.com/detail.aspx?ID=2084 -
Automatic water shut off: needed

I use a 65. Test it with the smaller tank first. Delco puts very small float tanks on their skids and they seem to work for them. -

Dan, Since everyone has what works for them, you're going to get several varied and conflicting opinions. With that being said, here's mine. Most, if not all the products on the roof cleaning market are sodium hydroxide based if not sodium hypochlorite (bleach/chlorine). I prefer chlorine. After all, what's growing on the roof? A form of algae and chlorine kills algae. Sodium hydroxide will kill it also but being a form of degreaser and the fact that most shingles are made with petroleum, it only seems practical to use the chlorine. When cleaning roofs, we use a 12 volt ShurFlo pump to apply the chem at about 45-60 psi. Once the roof is clean, we rinse with a garden hose, so as not to dry the shingles out from the chlorine (salt). As previously stated, the sodium hydroxide will work but not ideal in my opinion. It will usually require more pressure when rinsing and often takes longer to clean. The less pressure on a roof, the better! We use a xjet/pwer when washing houses. I'll leave with my remarks from above, as we don't offer any deck cleaning/restoration services with our company and there are many other qualified individuals to offer advice in that area. As I stated in the private message, feel free to give me a call if you want. -
My premise is this......People don't logically throw anything of value away. Whether it's money, new clothes, a bag of groceries, a baby, etc. The key word here is 'value.' Things have different value to different people, as previously stated. Since we happen to be talking about money, it seems easy for you to draw such conclusions since many people do put money above all else. However, I'm not one of them. If that were the case, I'd be out making more money instead of spending time fooling around with this trivial thread. :lgbugeyes

Logic would dictate that no one would throw it away in the first place. :lgbounces

This reminds me of a time when I was walking behind someone in a mall at Christmas time and watched them unknowlingly drop a $100 bill. I quickly picked it up and stopped them to give it back. Granted $100 & $20,000 aren't anywhere near each other in value, but I tend to believe we create our own karma, fortune, luck, fate or whatever. Since in certain circumstances, proof of ownership can't always be established, I can't say that I would immediately go looking for someone to notify, but I would certainly keep my ears/eyes open for such a loss. If no one came forward, I guess I did something to create some good karma for myself! :lgmoneyey

There are over 190 pw'ers listed in the Bellsouth yellow pages and I've never counted the Sprint listings plus all the others that aren't in the books. Staying busy will depend on several factors. The scope of your services offered, quality of work, company image, salesmanship, etc. I stay busy, but it wasn't always that way. What kind of equipment do you have? -
I think it's a great idea, if handled correctly. However a more centralized location would be appropriate. Those interested in attending from places other than the east coast shouldn't be expected to fork out 2-3 times the travel costs of others to attend simply because it's convenient to a few. OK, I'm going to make one last attempt to get the point across. No one is questioning John's credibility, only the info. stated. Go back and read the posts. The only point that I'm trying to make is that he stated that the PWNA isn't affiliated with any vendors when we all know that there are at least two on the board. I personally don't care whether there are or aren't vendors on the board, however painting the picture that there is no affiliation when there is won't be ignored. Beth made the point clear earlier that there are indeed vendors on the board, yet John states otherwise. My point was more of a mole hill as opposed to this mountain that you guys have constructed tonight. Somehow it's been turned into this nonsense, so this will be my last post on the subject.

Celeste, The point isn't whether there are vendor affiliations or not, but the credibility of some of the information being conveyed by Mr. Tornabene. As Beth stated earlier, there are vendors on the BoD.
