I think it's "mutually exclusive." :lgmoneyey

Thanks Carlos. It actually has a textured cool deck, but it doesn't really show too well in the pics. I'll pass your recommendation along next time they have me over for dinner...lol.

Boxer! Today is mine and Julie's seven year wedding anniversary. The original plan was to go to Disney's Animal Kingdom. But it's been raining most of the day so we went to lunch and did a little shopping. Here's what we picked up. Her name is Ally and she's just over 8 weeks old. She's had a big day and needed a nap after checking out the new digs and meeting her older sisters, Gidget and Bella.

Thanks guys....It's hard to believe that she's already grown noticeably in just over two days time.

Very cool pic! We had Roxy (a boxer) for almost 9 1/2 years and lost her unexpectedly last year. We have the two other dogs, Gidget (black lab/pit bull mix) and Bella (English Coon Hound) but it took a while before we were ready to get another boxer. Roxy was a great dog and we still have our weak moments about losing her.

The girl or the Boxer??? I love them both...lol! Thanks.

Apparently the marketing gurus didn't get the memo. Most potential clients prefer a decent, somewhat well-dressed contractor in a nice vehicle over those that show up in beaters. Image is as important in this business as almost any due to the general public's perception of our field of work. All other things being equal, which do you think the potential customer would go with? If I work hard, I expect nice things to show for it as well. I didn't make the rules, but I understand how important it is to play by them.

......or a thread not going the way you want it to go. Either get a sense of humor or pick up the phone, O' Omniscient One. The post was intended to have a bit of dry humor in it, but you obviously think you know more about what I meant than I do. Peace

It's funny how a guy/gal can't even ask about buying a truck without getting all this crap. Buy what you want and enjoy it! The internet appears to be too full of itself to help you anyway. Enjoy life....It's short!

Depends on what you're going to carry or pull. I would consider the GMC 2500.

I didn't make an offer. No problem, bitterness isn't something to waste time on. Good luck with the business!

Cash up front isn't a problem. However, lack of traffic is.

Several of us are doing much better now than we were 3 years ago......Not all of us, but most. I know several people interested in buying TCN if you need some extra cash.

Florida guys (or other "warmer" areas south)...
Don Phelps replied to dpaull's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Most FL contractors will tell ya that June, July and August are actually their slowest months of the year. November and December are usually pretty busy for me, but things slow down somewhat after that until March. -
It was too small for one of my trailers. I kept it for 8 months then traded it for the F250. That was a year ago this past May. Since the week before Hurricane Katrina hit I've gone from the Silverado 3500 Dually to the F150 Lariat to the F250 King Ranch. Wifey is gettin' tired of seeing new toys show up. The new motorcycle didn't go over too well at first, but after a ride thru the neighborhood she was OK with it. :lgjump:

Here's a pic of my '05 F-250 King Ranch. I think I posted it somewhere else around here at one point, but I gotta say it's probably my favorite truck of all that I've owned and I'm a truck nut. I keep telling my wife that I'm gonna get a F-650 pick-up. She's not saying much, so I assume that means if I get the truck, she's gettin' a divorce. I'll miss her. :lgwave: (Just Kidding Julie!)

The obvious question would be why the "Wood Siding and Log Home Care" forum is "private" but the others aren't in that particular area? hmmmm -

"The Police" know how to handle it. Dont think me unkind Words are hard to find The only cheques Ive left unsigned From the banks of chaos in my mind And when their eloquence escapes me Their logic ties me up and rapes me De do do do, de da da da Is all I want to say to you De do do do, de da da da Their innocence will pull me through De do do do, de da da da Is all I want to say to you De do do do, de da da da Theyre meaningless and all thats true Poets, priests and poiticians Have words to thank for their positions Words that scream for your submission And no ones jamming their transmission cos when their eloquence escapes you Their logic ties you up and rapes you De do do do, de da da da Is all I want to say to you De do do do, de da da da Their innocence will pull me through De do do do, de da da da Is all I want to say to you De do do do, de da da da Theyre meaningless and all thats true Lyrics from "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da"- The Police  -
