I read theads that I would like to save for future reference. Is there a way you can bookmark a thread for easy access when you want to access the thread? I find myself thinking of threads that contained information I would like to view, yet sometimes I have a hard time finding the thread I'm looking for.. So, is there a way to bookmark and save a thread to a folder or file for future reference? Thanks

If I may make one comment upon further review of the site. the text, which is the most important part of the site, is difficult to read sometimes against the brick backdrop. I would suggest putting some type of solid background behind the text or bold the text so that it stands out. I'm talking about the text in the center of the page that scrolls. I found myself straining to read some parts. The graphics and originality are outstanding.

Beautiful site! Haven't checked out the content yet, but the graphics and presentation are great. I like it Did you create it or did you have some one put it together for you?

Water Cannon Power Washers: Opinions?
Lou Beach replied to Lou Beach's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Hey Folks, thanks for the input. I have been in touch with Tom Vogel and he is putting together a quote for me. I will provide the trailer, he will outfit it with a Hydrotech Hot water machine and all the accessories I need to get started. I appreciate the advice on Tom, it's not a final deal yet, but we are working towards that end. Thanks Lou -
Water Cannon Power Washers: Opinions?
Lou Beach replied to Lou Beach's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Hey Squirt, thanks, let me know on the Florida rig. I am so frustrated with trying to buy a used rig, that I am starting to put one together myself. The Water Cannons seem to be reasonably priced, just trying to find out if the are reliable. Thanks again and keep me posted please. -

Agreed, one of the best for PW that I have seen. -
another question about the gutter cleaning What product (chem) is used or preferred when cleaning gutters? Thanks
-
Question on this aspect concerning the gutters. First, you clean only the exterior of the gutter is that correct, the side that the foot traffic see's? Second, do you use a different chem for the gutter then what you are using for the house? Third, if you are doing a two story house, how do you "brush" on the chem's for the gutters?

Nope Jon, still looking. My patience is gonna pay off, if not, I will buy a trailer and build one from scratch. I have made a serious offer to a guy who's got a rig for sale, but he has not accepted it at this time. So still in the market for a rig, to me its just a question of when the rig is going to show up for me. Thanks for asking. FYI ....looking for a tandem trailer equipped with a hot water unit 4.8GPM or greater, water tank, hose reels and any accessories that are included. Looking used equipment, price range around 5-6 grand, although I'd be happy to pay less for decent equipment. :)

With all this build up it better be good! :lgbugeyes

Hey Matt, great meeting you at the roundtable Can you check your link for the pics? It's not working. Thanks

Your gonna be providing health care benefits at a reasonable price?

It totally sucks and they are only hurting themselves. Stupid move, reallly stupid move. It will backfire and I predict that the board will be open to all again in the future or shutdown altogether. Talk about generating bad publicity.

Well, I have been looking hard, really hard, the last two months for a used hot water rig to start with this spring and have been very frustrated with the lack of equipment up for sale. I thought I would have a bonanza based on comments made generally about the availability of used equipment, but there has been absolutely nothing avialble on the forums and ebay close to me. Everything that has been for sale that meets what I am looking for is too far away to attempt to purchase. For instance, there are two rigs for sale on ebay now, but there both a thousand miles away. I have found this to be the case consistently. Where are the rigs in Maryland, NJ, Va, NC, Delaware, PA or Ohio for sale? Its starting to get close to the beginning of the season and I have all my ducks lined up, except for perhaps the most important thing. The equipment to do jobs with. I am starting to think I may have to put my own trailer together or just start with a cold water unit out of the back of my truck. I do not want to spend 10-12 thousand on a new rig just starting out, so I am hoping to find a used rig in the 5 thousand dollar range. If anyone hears of a hot water unit, on a tandem trailer in that price range, that is reasonable driving distance from Maryland, please let me know. I thought I would have tons of used equipment to choose from, but so far that avenue has been very disappointing. Thanks for letting me vent!

Jon, I hear you loud and clear about the room for growth on the trailer. I am factoring that into what I eventually end up with. There does seem to be a lot more action lately with used equipment, so maybe something good and reasonably priced will pop up soon. Thanks Lou

Henry, I spoke to John yesterday about his rig. He is a really nice guy and the rig sounds very nice, but he says he has an offer of 10 grand on it, which is more then I am willing to pay. I offered him 8 grand for it and he will get back to me if his other offers fall through. Thanks for your help. Lou
