Of course, GW said he'd do certain things too and that hasn't happened (remember abolishing the death tax? Still there...) Does anyone remember why we went to Kosovo? She didn't seem to have a problem with her husband sending our boys over there. Of course, that was also aptly timed to quickly snuff out the media attention over Monica Lewinsky. In fact, she's only had problems with things when it has been pushed by the other party. It's only popular to bash a prospect when an opponent pushes it, not when someone in your own party does it. Personally, I'm tired of the baseball politics where people vote according to teams and not accomplishments. As a champion of individual responsibility and acheivement, I couldn't care less about party affiliation. It isn't very often when you meet someone to whom you can say "what you do speaks so loudly that I can't hear what you say." As for Hillary, well, her past actions speak so loudly that I can't say enough bad things to trump them, and she can't say enough good things to hide them. Oh, and if you want to see how Democrats are slowly want to strip away and damn the character of our Constitution, do a few searches on the "Fairness Doctrine." Sounds EXACTLY what Ayn Rand wrote about over 50 years ago, and that stemmed from her experience with a communist government. And you want this phony as the First Man?

I've never used Palm software, so I can't say. I've played with the Samsung PDAs and like them for PDA phones. I used an HP 73?? for work for awhile and it was okay, but I used it mostly for wirelessly controlling motors and actuators, not so much for other PDA use. Batteries on all of them suck from what I understand.

Also, considering you'll be working in wet conditions, you might want to consider a GSM phone. As much as I like Verizon and the coverage of their CDMA network, you really can't beat the convenience of having the GSM card. If you drop your phone in water, pull out a backup (older phone usually) and swap the cards out. Back up and running instantly.

Smartphone through Verizon (Motorola Q). Functions very well as a phone, email center, wireless internet connection (through USB or BT for a laptop). Functions very poorly as a calculator or spreadsheet editor without added software. Cingular makes a very nice proprietary smartphone that's the size of a normal candybar-style phone (non-flip). I think they just released the BlackJack...looks very cool. I think it's a blackberry device. If you need full blown application ability (word, excel, copy/paste function, etc.), get a PDA, though.

I threw in $5 - 10 per window on my bid on the "premium" pricing...included manually brushing the sills with a detergent (usually something like greased lightning). Removed the screens, washed out all the bugs and spiders, brushed the sills, and used window cleaner / squeegee clean the windows. You can't effectively clean windows the screens on and expect the customer to be pleased when they look out of them once everything is dried.

It's the free chlrorine that is released when the bleach is stored in a container. As the bleach level drops in the tank, the air above it will fill with chlorine gas (if not allowed to vent). When draining the tank, it wouldn't be a an issue because the tank will be pulling vent air in...but when filling the tank the chlorine gass will be displaced and exit through the vent. I would check with the chlorine vendor and ask them what they do about diluting or scrubbing chlorine gas released in their filling or production process...there may be EPA regulations about vent concentration (usually in mg chlorine / m^3 air sample tested). If there aren't, then there shouldn't be any problem.

You could build a berm around it. Some of the containment systems I've seen involve the tank on an elevated platform (~ 1 - 2 feet off the ground) with a perimeter around it high enough to contain the volume within the tank. The floors are also depressed in the center to allow for a single pump point extraction, but usually that's incorporated in to the construction of the building...for a place you are renting this may not be feasible. Do they make double-walled poly tanks?

While mopping the floors tonight I overheard some television game show. The contestant was asked something along the lines of "How many 6-packs would you need to have 99 bottles of beer on the wall? Jeff, I like you alot, but c'mon guy, South Park is one of the last saving graces on television. Sure, it is crude and demeans just about every person of every background on the planet, but when it comes to social criticisms they get it right on everytime. I'd say Parker and Stone are comedic geniuses and have a better grasp on the flaws in society than the pious media and hollywood's professional pretenders. American Idol, Deal or No Deal (just flat out probability people!!!), Entertainment Tonight, etc. THOSE shows are runining our adults and kids. Of course, one of my guilty pleasures was oogling Stacy Keebler on Dances with the Stars awhile back.....

No, I was just wondering if you could just throw a receit on a scanner and save it to your computer and keep track of it in the program. For example, if you buy a drum of stain and show it as a purchase for a job, can you take the invoice or receit from the sale and link it to that as "proof of purchase." I did this before when I had to keep track of purchases and expenses. I used a numbering system for every receipt and write it on the paper itself, then scanned it and saved it as a PDF with the number as the file name. In an excel workbook (didn't have Quicken or Money, etc.) I linked each purchase to a job and had a hyperlink to that picture so I could pull it up in the event I was ever audited. Of course I kept hard copies and had them in a box sequentially, but after awhile it got to be a pain keeping up with various sizes and types of receipts. If one of the financial programs provided that same flexibility that'd be pretty cool. Maybe you could even tie in before / after pics to the same job...but all of this may be getting into a database type use rather than cost tracking (I've never actually used one of these programs, just Excel and wrote macros for things). ---in all cases where I wrote receit, receipt, reseet, and any other spellings where I meant "receipt" I hereby substitute the proper spelling.

Congress will have to agree to it...let's see how "anti-war" this new bunch really is. Personally, I'd like to see a more well-formed strategy as opposed to dumping more money and troops onto this situation. It's like public schools...they've been failing out children for years now and the constant cry is "we need more money." Come up with a plan--a solid plan--and if it warrants more troops, then fine. But don't just throw more resources at the situation and hope it works itself out.

In this case, the death penalty served no purpose. The death penalty is supposed to be a deterrent to others committing similar crimes. When dealing with people who so firmly believe in their cause that they will die for it, you cannot dissuade them in this manner. He was in custody, so he wasn't likely to harm others, so there was no need to put him to death for that (like we bomb active military targets...that's justified). If a government gets together and has a person in custody and collectively wants that person to die, the death penalty isn't justice...it's mob revenge, and I think it's a blight on our moral character to succomb to such acts. I would have been happy if his government had sentenced him to a Prometheus-like punishment, then let nature take it's course if we don't want to spend the millions it would take to keep him in custody for the rest of his natural life.

If anyone here operates in or near Riverdale / Fayetteville, GA, you should try this out on Evander Holyfield's place. He has an iron fence along the front of his property with stucco columns...dozens of them.. and a low stucco wall between each one, and it is plagued with these stains along the entire length. Accessibility may be an issue as the fence looks to be a few hundred yards from the house, so one might need a rather large container of water. P. Doolittle....I'm sure you drive by this place often, ever tried to submit a proposal?

Given the propensity of our socialist-leaning government leaders, I vehemently oppose making Mexico another country. WIth the income redistribution that takes place in this country, I can imagine the effort that would take place to bring all Mexicans up from poverty conditions at the cost to the producers in our current society.
