  1. I bought new vrt3 unloader, and after first use I notice little bit of water just under the coil. It doesn't look like its a big leak it was just one big drop of water there. I never saw any leaks in this place before on my other unloaders. Is it a faulty one or some kind of normal condensation? Machine is mounted inside my van, so its pretty hot when engine is running, but I don't see any other leaky or sweaty spots anywhere on my plumbing.Any suggestions? Thanks!

  2. Ok .... GOT IT!

Here is the problem... We have several different machines, different pumps and setups. When I got first Allison super sucker it came with short manual and all in pieces. I put it together and it worked for very short time and not very well. Second one arrived already assembled from Envirospec. Same issue ... not working.

I fixed that today. Water was just going wrong direction... Everything works after switching quick connects. There was no arrows on it to show the right flow direction.

Some pumps have female on the outlet and some have male. Envirospec manual doesn't explain that some pumps are assembled differently. We have Comet, AR and Cat pumps and all of them have female quick connects. Envirospec should add note about it in their Allison super sucker manuals. Looks like there is two standards...

    This down-streamer sucks - and I love it! :)

  3. I really hope that the problem was only with this SSS. If new one doesn't work I give up . I have checked everything - hoses, connections, pump, guns, nozzles , valve ... Everything looks, sounds and work like new ...

I never had any problem with downstreamer other than not enough solution was sucked

I will keep you posted if I got more grey hair or great suction with SSS :d

  4. There is many better distributors with better products and prices right here on TGS.

I have several guns with different flow rates and different models / brands . I tested many few of them with SSS and I never got any suction. From time to time I used just ball valve to spray some solution but right now this doesn't work at all. I have great pressure and flow but no suction at all.

Just a FYI here, if you are using a Northern Tools Pressure Gun, I have found several of them that will not let you downstream chemicals.

I know it is the gun because I can take the gun off and downstream with just cracking open the ball valve.

It was their most expensive guns (black gun with yellow trigger, other was black gun with red trigger).

I tried a General and Suttner gun and they downstream ok.

I know, I know. I had a good coupon and was in the store while out of town and thought I would give them a try, I could not return them until I went out of town again. I will not buy their guns again.

  5. Hi again

    • I tested it again with 4 gpm pump with #1 and #2 injector nozzle
    • Than with downstreamer on the end of the hose with and without gun
    • with and without plastic hose
    • checked ceramic ball - everything is fine there
    • nozzle is pointing right direction and the whole unit is assembled the right way
    • tested with 3 different guns ( 8gpm,10 and 12 )
    • tested with 200 ' and 25 ' of high pressure hose

No luck at all. No suction at all.

I'm lucky to get one broke item from a million of good ones ... again. Should I play lottery ? :D

    should be present.

If not here is what you look for.

If you will look in both ends of the injector you will see in one end - a small nozzle. Make sure this nozzle end is where the water enters the injector from the unloader. Also, using an allen wrench, install the #2 nozzle in the injector.

Remember the test I mentioned with the chem line removed and the high pressure hose removed. Just make sure no-one is standing in front of the injector. If - when you perform this test - you do not feel suction on the injecto they you have a bad one. Just call Terri at 912-487-1778 and tell her to call me & I will get you another one right out.

Have a great day. I will be on the road today but Terri will track me down. She always does :-)

  6. Hi

This one is on cold water and I was using my "regular" black soap tip.

Injector is between unloader and the gun.

I installed recommended injector nozzle for my system.

I was looking for an arrow on the injector body and I couldn't find one.

I'm using this machine with 200 ft of house and I'm downstreaming mix of "bleach" and detergents.

I will try to play with it tomorrow and I will let you know if I found the problem or not ...

    Lucas

This is an Injector that I designed

    Hot Water or Cold Water?

    If hot - how hot?

What size Low Pressure Nozzle are you using?

Is the injector between the Unloader and the Gun?

You said a 4 GPM Pump - Right?

Did you install the Number 2 or 3 nozzle in the injector?

Is the Arrow on the injector facing the gun?

One good way to find out if it is the injector is to remove everything from the discharge side of the Injector. Remove the chemical pick-up line from the injector and make absolutely sure no-one is standing in front of the injector and start the engine.

When you do place your finger over the nipple where the chemical pick-up line attaches. You should feel suction. If you do then your problem lies between the injector and gun nozzle and not the injector.

Remember. You should be using the 2 or 3 Injector Nozzle.

The higher the temperature you run a hot water machine - the less chemical you will draw.

The more hose you use - the less chemical you will draw.

The smaller the low pressure nozzle you use on the end of the wand the less chemical you will draw.

When any injector is used to dispense muriatic acid the hose will swell and chances are you will not draw any chemical.

It is very unusual that a Suds Sucker fails but it does happen. Let us know.

Good luck and sorry for all the problems.

  7. Ok ... here is my problem I can't fix . I have brand new AR pump 4gpm with original downstreamer next to unloader ... used to work for some time ... than I tried to downstream without a gun with just a ball valve on the end ... it worked for some time quite nicely but recently it won't draw anything ... So I bought SUD SUCKER from Envirospec N. which supposed to fix the problem .... I tried it in so many ways and no suction at all.

    What's wrong ?

    I would appreciate any input.

    Thanks

  8. :lgmoneyeyI have a lot of customers with "Maintenance free" and/or " Low maintenance" Trex decks.

I'ts way easier to see mold and mildew on trex decks than on regular color wood ones.

Many mildew problems in a first year . I have bunch of pictures of "new" trex decks with round mildew spots all over them .... we should call it trex disease :)

Just my private opinion only and hundreds of pictures to proove it ...

On many decks which gets enough sun and little or no moisture there is no problem with that ...

  9. Lady froze many times ... I have super fast internet and pc . I think problem is with server or with "live person" software.

I think it's a great idea for a website , BUT I hate when something starts playing or talking automatically when I get to the website.

Most big portals starts videos or adds with sound off by default - giving you a choice to listen to it or not.

All of "live person" gadgets are very annoying and ServiceMagic should get #1 prize for the most annoying and biggest one.

I installed a live actor video on my website. I like it but I was curious as to what other people thought. I have two actually. One for my services and one on the homepage for product sales:

    Deck Restoration Michigan

    Wood Deck Restoration Supplies

  10. Hi

I'm looking for some basic info on adjusting brand new unloader - THE RIGHT WAY ( using bolt hidden under top cap ). Should I use pressure tester ? Any tips , advice or links ? That's the first one that I have such a big pressure spike for a second when I relase trigger. I blow already one of my old hoses.

    Thanks for any help

  11. I already knew 0 degree nozzle can make a "huge" difference on the concrete :o but rotating nozzle on the wood is a new and so exciting idea;).

I found it today on YouTube . To see it in action , click

I hope all of you have busy season ... We started ours 2 months earlier than previous seasons ... global warming is here :D
