  1. Hi , I am starting my PW business here in CA, could you please share with me a copy of your invoice, estimate, and contract forms. I would really apreciate it. Thank You Mario D.

  2. Weird coxreel or I am blind :)

Hi, I purchased a Coxreel and recieved it about 3 weeks ago. I did not know that it need a whip hose. I placed my Coxreel order over the phone and I think that he should of told me that I was going to need a whip hose. I finally ordered the whip hose but I just cant figure out how to hook it up to my Coxreel. The Coxreel is 3/8"X250' 4000PSI. The center of the reel has a hallow space but no openings. Anyone out there have any experience with one of these Coxreels? I must say one thing. Othere than my PW machine, everything else that I have bought was through Pressuretek. I decided to purchase my hosereel from another place because it was I think $30-40 cheaper and I sure to regret it. Every time I have called Bob @ Pressuretek he has been very helpful.
  3. Chemical injector placement question

I am having some trouble hooking up my hi-draw injector. I have a DeWalt DS3750 3750PSI 4GPM. I bought mine from Pressuretek. My PW came with a Chemical hose that attaches onto the barbed fitting. I know that the hi-draw injector should be placed after the pump, but exactly where? I wish I could use pics to give a better idea but my camera is not working right now. I am going to be downstreaming. I already have all the other connectors to go with the hi-draw injector.
  4. any1 use F-8 Nuetralizer/Brightener from Pressuretek

Thank you all for your replies. I will use the FAQ, I did miss that option, however, I have been using the search function and it is great. Yes, I do have a cush job, however the harder I work my checks look the same. I honestly think that hourly wage jobs dont allow people to reach their dreams financially. One quick question please. I plan do only do driveways and wash houses, am I better off with an X Jet or just downstreaming? THank you
  5. Welcome New Members! ..Introduce yourself

Hello everyone, my name is Mario and I am in the Bay Area, Santa Cruz/Monterey area. I am 28 yrs. old and with three kids now hourly pay dont cut it. I currently have a good goverment job, with benefits, and a lot of paid time off. However, I have always wanted to have my own business so I went out and bought my self a DeWalt 3750PSI,4GPM Cold H2O and thought this machine will make me some easy money, man was I wrong. This pressure washing business is like learning a new language I have been learingn so much on here it is great. The "search" function is great. I plan on cleaning driveways and houses only. After I become a "Pro" at those two I will then get more involved with decks. I noticed that most people on here are from the Mid-West or the East Coast, anyone here from California(Northern)? Anyoner else use a DeWalt Pressure Washer? Sorry about all the typing, I could keep on going and it is 2AM. Thanks to everyone on here, it feels like a big family.
  6. This is my first post on TGS, and I must say this is the best Pressure Washing/Contractor Cleaning website on the net. A whole lot of information on here. I am just starting my own mobile pressure washing business. I will start P/T and hopefully someday I can do this F/T. To be honest with everyone, it is kind of a scary move going p/t to f/t. I currently have a cush goverment job. I get paid well plus the benefits and a whole lot of time off, but I have always wanted my own business. I went out and bought myself a DeWalt 3750PSI 4GPM Cold H20, I think it is a good piece of equipment. I have F-18 from Pressuretek and also F-8, anyone else here use F-8 and if so how do you apply it and mix it. I plan on using it on driveways. I am in the Bay Area, anyone else from the Santa Cruz/Monterey area? I thought this Pressure Washing business would be a pieace of cake, man was I wrong. There is so much to learn, it is like learning a new language. Thanks to everyone on here and especially to the moderators, you guys do a gret job.
