Anyone have any uplifting religious Quotes? Al?
alvisishere replied to John T's question in The Club House
Revulation :4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (something to look forward too) -

SIKKENS vs TWP
alvisishere replied to rwhat's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Hey guys, been a while... I had a home owners contractor was going to stain a new deck with this SIKKENS Cetol Marine Wood Finish He told me it was the same thing they put on boats and docks and would last 5 yrs. I never heard of this product until today. Are they a product they apply to boat and docks that are suitable for a new deck? -

Jeff when you brush a home, does it come cleaner than when you x-jet or ds? Kudo's for you to be able to brush a home, I just don't know if I have that much stamina! -
Hugh, There has been cancer in my family as well, it is a hard and difficult thing to go though, My prayers are with you and your family, tell Janet to keep her faith in the Lord and he will help her get through these difficult times, She sounds like a fighter....tell her to keep on!!!

Doug, put the injector below your gun and try it. give me a call when you read this

Good thread, lots of good info I have tweaking and experimenting the way I wash to get the results I need. I can now downstream gutters 2 and 3 stories up and clean them without brushing most of the time, problem is when I try to use the same mixture on the home it will not clean by doing a light rinse with a 1/4" hose barb. So I have to use xjet to wash home. Just a note I have always used xjet and just started dsing and one thing I have done is put my injector below my handle with a with a quick connect set up that attaches to my no spill xjet bucket....when I want to rinse home(or rinse out injector) I turn valve off and disconnect qc. You can easily wash with injector below gun with about 3-4 ft of line hanging from injector(qc) so it won't drag ground. this way you have immediate soap, don't have to wait to travel thru 200+ hose, injector will work with 500+ft hose. Don't like to carry a 5er around the house for downstreaming....try this ....That 4 ft you got hanging from your injector at your gun....drop it in a gallon of soap...spray in one hand with 12'' wand and carry gal jug in another. One or two gallons should was a reg ranch home. Let me know if you try it and tell me if it works for you, maybe we can tweak it more!!!

Ladder with Stabilizer where to buy?
alvisishere replied to Rob R.'s topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I would suggust to any that uses a ladder to invest in a ladder levler that bolts to the bottom of ladder, they adjust up to a foot on each side, just by sliding them up or down. Use these with the stabilizer and you will have a very safe and easy to use ladder system. -
Do we really care about the cost of gas?
alvisishere replied to plainpainter's question in The Club House
What gripes me is one station in my area sells diesel for 4.99 and one block away they sell it for .30 cheaper, talk about gauging!!!!! -

Gosh .... I am asking for a whooping...but since I am the guilty one..... I used these boards for all the valued information and knowledge from all the pro's and novices in this business and I am fairly new on the boards so I have very little clout, just my humble opinion. I have talked with many of you on the phone, emails and pm's and had the privilege to met a few of you in person. But I always wondered, seems like some of you guys just don't like one another, What ever is going to happen when you meet in person. When someone posts "good or bad" it reflects the one who wrote it. I believe in free speech as much as anyone, but it is up to us to respect one another. No one disputes grammar and spelling is important and the points mentioned on this thread, I imagined was well taken to the ones it affected. My suggestion if you keep this thread open as a generic thread on grammar, spelling ect. but don't keep it open so other can continue to attack someone on their weakness. This contents of this thread is an important one that needs to be discuss and I personally think it would be more beneficial if it was deleted and re-post as a new thread, I think a lot a guys would learn from it. Would it be fair, lets say for the next 24 or 48 hrs if the people who use these boards to voice an opinion and let the majority rule?
